Sydney's POV
"I swear, she's pissing me off." I gritted my teeth together.
"Ignore her, she's such a bitch sometimes." Aubrey looked over at her.
"But seriously, it's not fair, teachers can act however they want with you, but then we can't act the same towards them." I angrily explained, folding my arms together.
"School." Aubrey rolled her eyes, and dug her fork into her salad.
"Mhmm." I agreed and turned my attention back to the food lying on the table in front of me.
Lunch was my favourite part of the school day. But one thing can ruin my mood for the rest of the week, sometimes even more. I asked my teacher ONE simple question, and she came out with attitude. Fucking hell. I steered my view around the cafeteria. This wasn't exactly your typical high school. Everyone just mixed. Yeah, some people didn't like others, but that's normal.
One particular person caught my eye. I directed my eyes all over his body. He was laughing with his friends and that was the most best thing you could ever see.
Drool.
He was wearing a simple black t-shirt paired with skinny jeans. He looked perfect, oh my god. He looks perfect in anything. And I mean anything. His mouth drew into a smile and I swear I literally fainted. How can someone be so fucking hot? I was staring at him for ages, like a freak.
All of a sudden he drew his attention to me and my eyes widened. Oh shit, eye contact. That's the most awkward thing. For some reason though, he didn't find it awkward. His smile widened, and he brought his hand up to wave at me. I smiled back, hyperventilating silently. This was the first time I properly smiled today. And it was all because of him.
He said something to his friends and they nodded. He turned away and started walking towards me, with that smile still stuck on his face. Oh, he's walking over here. Shit, there's no time to check how I look. I sound like your typical teen girl oh gosh.
"Yo Syd, what's up?" His voice brought me back to the real world and I grinned.
"Fucking teachers man, I swear." I shook my head and rolled my eyes.
"Ha, what did one of 'em do now?" He knew I hated some teachers.
"Nothing you need to know about, ass." I grinned even wider.
"Ooh, attitude." He said, with that signature smirk of his.
"Piss off," I stuck the middle finger up at him," Anyways, what about you, Cody?"
"Everything is fine." He drawled the fine and I laughed.
Something clicked in my brain,"Everything is blue!" I sang.
"His pills, his hands, his jeans." Cody sang back, laughing quietly,
"And now I'm covered in the colours, pulled apart at the seams!" I shouted out of tune.
Cody laughed like there was no tomorrow. He looked amazing. My mouth turned back into a straight line, just freakily staring at him.
"Well, I gotta' go now, see ya' later!" Cody ran away, shouting as he did so.
"Another awkward conversation for me to endure."
I turned my head swiftly towards Aubrey. I forget she was there!
"Haha oh my god, I'm sorry." I laughed and she grinned slightly.
