Kleo: Ending together

Chapter 10

As soon as I got the text from Leo I started packing my bags.

Mia came in my room and helped me.

"Mom?"

"Yes darling"

"Why is Ned doing this to us. To you."

"I don't know Mia, I don't know."

I saw that Mia was almost crying so I pulled her into a hug.

"I just want us to be happy mom."

"I know. We will be soon."

"Are you getting a divorce?"

I put my hands on her shoulder and I didn't even need to answer the question because Mia saw it coming.

"You know I love Ned mom. But I love Leo more."

I laughed and said "Mia he is just my friend tho. Now let's finish packing."

I hugged my children goodbye and thanked my parents once again for this.

As I drove off I put Mia's favorite CD in. Justin Bieber. I got to admit I'm starting to like his music.

Thankfully Leo's house isn't far away but it still took my five hours to drive there. But I knew it would be worth it.

When I finally arrived the clock was 6pm and I was starving.

I walked up to the door and ringed the doorbell.

When he opened the door, gosh I knew this was the right decision.

He pulled me straight into a hug and whispered in my ear.
"I've missed you so much"

"Leo it has only been two days or so." I laughed

"Still, I miss you everyday."

We hugged again and he offered to take my bags and put them in my room.
Yes I have a special room.

I walked down the hallway and into the kitchen. Where this delicious smell greeted me.
Aw he cooked.

When Leo came back downstairs he was on the phone.

He pointed at the seat and I sat down.

He pulled out some vegan pizza and a salat to eat with it.
Every dinner we spend together I think more about being a vegan.
Leo inspires me so much to be a better person and be grateful for our planet.

"Can I call u later dad, I'm kinda busy."
He said and smirked.

He placed his phone on the table and apologized for that.

"Well how about we start eating?" Leo said and took a slice of pizza and handed to me.

"So what happened?" Leo said still chewing

"What are you talking about?"

"Last time we saw each other you were going to talk to Ned. So how did it go?"

"Well.." I found that I would start crying if we'd talk about this but I didn't care.

"He.. Wants-uhm, a divorce."
