Chapter 5: It SUCKS to be ME

Zac’s POV

*Check Yes Juliet*…

I took my phone out and answered the call without looking at the caller ID.

“Hello?”

(Zac! Where the hell are you?) sabi ni Alyka sa kabilang linya.

“Condo” matipid kong sabi.

(Ganun pala ah! What if sabihin ko sayo na nasa bahay ka nila Jared!)

“alam mo pala bakit nagtanong ka pa?” nakakainis lang badtrip ako ngayon!

(wth?! Mukhang badtrip ka ngayon nvm nalang papatulong sana ako sayo.)

“ano na naman ang nangyari?” walang ganang tanong ko sa kanya. Palagi na lang may problema nakakainis na!

(Nasa hospital si Cassy.) seryosong sagot niya.

“wh-aaa-ttt?! You’ve got to be kidding me?”

(Hindi naman ko naman sasabihin sayo kung hindi totoo diba?)

“Wth?! Ano na naman ang ginawa niya bakit nasa hospital siya?”

(I’ll tell you later basta pumunta kana dito alam mo naman kung saan ang hospital ng kapatid ni Jared diba?)

“Okay-okay! Pupunta na ako diyan” I said

“Sino ang tumawag?” Jared said pagkarating niya galing sa kitchen at may dala siyang beer.

“Si Alyka! Jared I need to go! Nasa hospital daw si Cassy.” Hindi ko na siyang hinintay na makasagot agad na akong lumabas ng bahay nila.

“wait Zac! I’ll go with you.” Sabi niya

“bilisan mo.” Sabi ko sa kanya kasi nasa kotse na ako.

Ano na naman ang ginawa mo Cassy?nakakainis na! palagi na lang ako ang tutulong sa kanya. Aish! Bakit ba ako naiinis kasi nakikita ko ang sarili ko sa kanya noon??! I don’t know. Maybe. Cassy naman bakit mo to ginagawa sa sarili mo.?

Cassandra’s POV

After I texted Mr. Unknown I went out of my room.

“Cassy!” Kuya said noong nakita niya akong lumabas ng kwarto

“What?”

“I’m sorry about what happened earlier.”

“Nah! It’s okay brother. By the way! Can I borrow your car? I need to buy something.”

“Here.” He handed me the keys.

“Thanks. “ I said then umalis na ako.

*Grocery*

I need to buy ruffles.

*boogsh*

“Sh*t” I said sabay pulot ng phone ko! I was texting kasi kaya hindi ko namalayan na may nabangga na ako.

“Look where you’re going!.” The guy said

I looked at him and to my surprise. I’d slap him.

*paaaaaaaaaak*

“Wow! What a nice greeting from an old friend.” He said while hinawakan niya ang pisngi niya.

“Hi Cloud.” I said and take note the sarcasm and I flashed my oh-so-famous-fake-smile at him.

“Cassy.” He said in a low voice.

“I wasn’t expecting to see you here in LA.”

“Yeah right by the way how’s life?”

“How’s my life?? Hmmm.. Miserable.” I said to him

“Cassy I’m sorry.” He said

“Don’t be.”

“I’m really sorry.”

“News flash I DON'T NEED YOUR APOLOGY! The damage has been done. You can’t fix it and btw thanks for being part of my OLD MISERABLE LIFE. Tell your brothers I said “Hi” and please tell your loving BEST FRIEND “GO TO HELL” ” I said then went out.

*Car*

Habang nasa car ako. Naalala ko na naman ang encounter namin ni Cloud kanina. Bumabalik lahat ng alaala ko noon! Nakakainis!

I can feel that I am crying right now and my heart is screaming! For it hurts so much. Like my heart is broken into million pieces that someone is gripping it. Attempting to open the wounds that were not perfectly healed it feels like it’s the START AGAIN where it hurts so much. I really hate this feeling its killing me. It makes me feel that I’m vulnerable again. It really sucks to be me! Because my life is such a mess!

I gripped the steering wheel. Tears keep falling from my eyes. My vision went blurry. I keep on driving. I did not realize that there was a truck on the other side of the street. Iiwasan ko sana pero huli na ako and then…….

*blackout*
