"You have to go, I'm sorry." Years ran down her face but her expression never changed. I felt my heart being torn from me as I sent away the love of my life.

The first order has been getting attacked more and she almost died. I was doing this for her safety, I would never try to put her in harms way.

"Don't do this." She spat. (Y/n) was a strong woman but I could see her now, she was hurting.

I looked at the storm troopers behind me and nodded at them. And to her dismay, they marched towards her ignoring her harsh words to leave her alone.

Every small distance she was being pulled from me was leaving myself more empty inside.

It was the worst feeling in the world, but I needed to feel that in order to do my job. I watched her board the ship.

Her expression would be the last thing id have to think of her, in this moment I would never forget how I hurt the woman I tried my best to protect

I turned around and screamed into the wall before taking my light saber out and lashing out.

I knew the only way I would ever get her back was if I defeated the threats. And that is when she would be able to return.

It would take years before we were safe and that would be too much to ask of her, when she could start a life with someone who wouldn't put her in harms way.

I needed to let her be happy, no matter how miserable I would be
