I watch as Sam gives Dean an unsteady look, as if he couldn't just say a simple yes or no.

"Jordan.."

"Just, tell me."

"But-"

"Sam," I sigh, my voice stern. "I want the truth."

His brown eyes drooped as he stared back at me, causing my heart to skip a single beat.

"Yes.. They are."

Although that was the answer I expected, it still sounded so unexpected as it came out of his mouth. I inhale a deep, unsteady breath. My whole body suddenly feeling shaky and weak.

It was true.

But how? How could it possibly be? My parents, demons. The ones who had raised me my whole life, secretly evil souls behind my back.

And to think that they loved me.

How could I have been so mistakenly blind?

"And Charlotte and Alex, they are too, aren't they?" I ask, not able to look him in the eyes any longer.

"Jordan, I know this isn't easy for you..."

Well of course it isn't easy. My whole life has just been one, huge lie. Everything. Everyone that I ever loved.

Lies.

They don't love me. They never did.

I could feel the coldness of my tears as they rolled down my cheeks. Soaking the  front of the gigantic t-shirt that I happened to still be wearing

A few seconds passed and I had almost forgotten that Sam & Dean were still standing there until I felt a warm hand gently touch my arm.

I jumped slightly, peering up to see Dean's gentle face staring back at me.

I had thought him and Sam were crazy, insane even. But it turns out they were right. Everything they said was right.

They were all I had left.

"So, you were telling the truth, they're not my real parents." I manage to wipe away the remainder of my tears.

Dean shakes his head as Sam gives a solid "No."

"Well then, who is?"

"Their names were Katherine and James." Sam answers.

Were.

That single word hit me like a shock to the heart.

"So they're dead?" I ask, my voice going shaky.

"Well that's the thing, we don't know. They just disappeared. No one really knows what happened to them." Dean says, and I could feel an inch of hope swell up inside of me.

My parents. My real parents. They could still be alive.

"What do you think? I'm sure there was at least a theory of what could've happened." I look at Dean, but he just shrugs.
