Kyle's POV

"I think I want to write a cookbook." I say. Taylor, Chris, Lisa, and Ty all look over at me in surprise.
"You serious?" Lisa asks. I nod.

"I need something to do and a career after college. Why not make a cookbook? Get a head start you know." Lisa's response kind of deflated me a bit.

"I think you could do it. I've tasted the food you make, it's amazing." Taylor says, squeezing me slightly. I'm sitting on his lap with my feet on Ty.

"Your the boyfriend, you have to say that." I groan. Everyone laughs.
"Not true. I wouldn't encourage you to do something if you would fail." He says. True. I rest my head on his shoulder, and he continues typing on his laptop that is resting in my lap. We both have an English paper due, but he said he would help me when he finishes, so he's doing it now.

"Don't get me wrong from my earlier response, you could so do it. You just gotta get your name out there." Lisa says. I nod.

"It's a strong possibility for a career for you. Would you want to work or own a restaurant too?" Ty asks.

"I've sent out a few resumes for some local restaurants, you know, Kelsey's, east side Mario, olive garden and such. But I really don't know if I'll get a call." Ty nods.

"Best of luck to ya man." Chris pats my shoulder. I smile at him.

The door opens and in walks a soaked Betty, and equally soaked Anna.
"It's raining." Betty mumbles. She walks into Chris's room and we all watch her, amused. She walks back out with two towels and passes one to a shivering Anna.

"I don't think any of my towels are clean." Chris says. Betty rolls her eyes.

"That's because I do your laundry. Don't worry babe they're clean." Betty says to Anna who smiles and nods. They start to dry themselves off and soon converse with the others.

"You almost done?" I ask, glancing at the screen.
"I'm only on the second paragraph." He laughs. I pout. I just want to cuddle up to him and kick everyone else out, but I know that's rude.

I simply let my head lay on his shoulder as he typed away.

There's a knock on the door and it opens, to show Keith holding a laptop that's open. He glances around the room and his jaw drops.

"You lot are having a get together and didn't invite me. Well your all right off wankers aren't ya? no matter. Kyle come here, your parents want to say hi." My eyes widen. I don't want to speak to them. Taylor tenses underneath me.

I squirm my way off him and give him back his laptop.
"Taylor's room." Keith nods and we walk into the room. We both sit on his bed, the laptop being set on the end of the bed.

"Hello Kyle." Helen smiles. Sean nods then looks away.
"Hey." I mutter. Apparently she hears me.

"You're speaking! Oh that's lovely! I guess the donor's idea was good hmm?" Helen smiles. My eye twitches.

"Yea, dad paid for it all. He's a real great guy." I smile when hers falters. Sean snaps his gaze over to mine.

"I paid for no such thing." He crosses his arms.
"You're not my dad. A dad accepts his son for who he is. Not uses a car crash memory flaw to try and act like his son isn't gay."

"I don't want a gay son." He glares.
"I don't want two dad's. I like the one here more." I retort.

"We are paying for your college! You will respect us."

"So don't pay next year. I have Taylor back, I'll just stay here and not go back to the Uni." Sean's eyes widen at the mention of Taylor. Assuming Taylor heard his voice, he steps in.
