Kyle's POV
"Kyle hold still!" I swat at Betty's hands.
"Betty your hurting him." Taylor laughs. I huff as she attaches another white extension.A few days ago, Chris said he needed a drag queen model. Taylor offered me up. I don't want to admit it, but I like getting all dressed up and have people fussing over me. It's nice, makes me feel important.
Anna and Betty were getting me ready, and they were going for some Victorian style thing. It was weird being in a wedding dress they bought from a thrift shop. They were itchy. Why would anyone choose to wear one of these?
They wouldn't let me see what they've done go my face until they were finished. And this drove me insane."Taylor! Chris! Hold him down." Betty instructs. My eyes widen and I jump off the barstool I was on. I lunge to get away and the girls catch me.
"Why? What are you doing to him?" Chris chuckles.
"We need to put the fake lashes on him." My eyes widen and I start struggling again. I do not want glue on my eyelids! Are they insane?"Okay Kyle, just close your eyes, the glue is a little warm so it might hurt a bit." I gulp. I keep trying to squirm, until I feel arms wrap around my torso and shoulders. The guys are actually holding me down! Assholes. I close my eyes and wince when the eyelashes are put on. How do I even get these off?
The boys release me after they add mascara to it. They darken my eyebrows with a pencil, which I find insanely stupid and put dark red lipstick on me. When I'm done I sit there awkwardly. Now what?
"Alright Kyle, now just head on over to our backdrop disaster. I'll guide you from there." Chris instructs. I walk over to where he had strung up some old curtains, that we got along with the dress, and stand there. He adjusts the lighting, which he 'borrowed' from campus.
"Okay, look towards Anna." I shift so I'm staring at her and she smiles at me. I smile back. We take more shorts, having me sit down and using a fan to blow my hair. It doesn't actually take as long as I thought.
"Okay, you can go shower and fix, that." He gestures to my face and we all laugh.
How do I get the eye things off? I sign to Taylor.
"How does he get the eyelashes off?" Taylor translates for me."Just take a warm cloth and dab your eyes, then just pull them off." Betty dismisses. I nod and walk into the bathroom. I strip myself and grab a cloth as the water heats up. I use the sink and wet it, dabbing my eyes.
The lashes came off surprisingly easy. I step into the shower with the cloth and scrub at my face. Why do girls and even guys do this to themselves daily? It feels weird and I heard this stuff was made out of whale blubber.
I forgot to take the extensions out, and realized that a little too late. I also have no idea how to get it out by myself. Just as I was about to turn off the water the door opens.
"You forgot your clothes in my room. Thought I'd save you the embarrassment." I hear Taylor's voice before the door closes again. Jeez he's adorable. How he is so considerate and is constantly fussing over me. He makes me feel special. I like this feeling.I turn the water off and grab the towel from the rack. After drying myself off i slip back into my old clothing before making my way out.
I feel heat rise to my cheeks when everyone turns to stare at me.
I couldn't get the hair things out. I sign to Taylor."He can't get the extensions out." Taylor translates. There's a chorus of 'ohh's' that go around.
"Come here Kyle I'll get them out." Anna says. I nod and sit on the floor as she begins taking them out.
"So where's Alan?" Taylor asks. Anna tenses behind me.
"He um, he left when he found out Kyle was going to be here." Anna says quietly. I subconsciously bring my knees to my chest.
