Kyle's POV 6 years later

I was a bundle of nerves right now as I walk through the doors to Eastwood high school. I already have my visitor clip on so I don't stop at the office,I come here a lot. In two hours I was going to be on live television, broadcasting my success over the four cookbooks I have made.

I stop outside class number 219, knocking gently before pushing open the door. I don't know why I was surprised, but Taylor was holding a fake sword, and standing on top of his desk.
"She is the fairies midwife-" He jumps off the table,
"And she comes in a shape no bigger than- oh hi Kyle." He stops when he sees me at the door.

"You dork. What are you torturing the kids with now?" I joke. All his students know me, because I pop in quite often. A couple giggle. He sets down his sword and walks over to kiss my cheek. Some kid wolf whistles and I jut put my favourite finger towards the general direction. They laugh again.

"I am Mercutio from Romeo and Juliet thank you very much." He sasses. I twirl his short ponytail.
"Definitely got the hair cut for it." I tease. He huffs.

"Oh I didn't tell you guys. My boyfriend is gonna on love TV!" Taylor says excitedly. The class groans.
"You did tell us. Three times. He's famous. Of course he'd be on TV." one girl in the front sighs. She has a blonde pixie cut. Her name is Sharon.
"Well, Susan, you dont have to ruin my mood." He purposely gets her name wrong. She glares at him. I chuckle at that.

"Did you brings snacks again Kyle?" Bobby asks. I almost forgot to box I was holding.
"Yea. You guys like éclairs right?" Theres a bit of cheering.
"And Andy." I call out, scanning the room for the boy. He glances at me shyly.
"I know you have diabetes, so I found a recipe for the éclairs for diabetics. It has next to no sugar and tastes great I promise." I walk over and give him his before it gets mixed up with the rest. Andy was an adorable kid. He has blonde hair that he dyes black in some sort of goth phase, and he's very tall, but very skinny.

"Th-th-than-thank y-you." He stutters. I pat his shoulder gently, before handing out the rest. I pass them out to the rest of the kids.

They were excited to get out of school soon, so they were very hyper and loud.

I sat on Taylor's desk while he calmed them down and continued to teach. When class ended the class wished me goodluck, and I walked over to toss the box of stuff in the garbage, since now it was just crumbs.

"I-um, M-M-Mr. C-C-crow i- h-here." I turned and saw Andy giving Taylor a flyer.

"What's this Andy?" He asks. Instead, Andy just runs out looking embarrassed.
"What is it?" I ask, walking over.

"An adoption event thing." He mumbles, reading over it.
"I think Andy might want us to adopt him." He says quietly, processing it still.
"Do you want to?" I ask.

"Do you?" He asks.
"Andy's a good kid. I know the horrors of being an orphan. I think we should." I tell him. I've been wanting kids, and Andy is harmless. I've always had a soft spot for him.

"Then it's settled. We'll adopt him." Taylor smiles. I grin back at him.
"What day is it?" I ask.
"Next Saturday. He looked pretty scared, should we go find him?" Taylor says. I nod and we quickly leave the class. He has his briefcase with him as we search for the quiet kid.

Taylor checks other classrooms and I scan the halls. I find him quickly gathering his things at his locker. I jog over and rest a hand on his shoulder. He whips around looking frightened. He sees me and only calms slightly.

"Yes Andy. We'd love to have you." He surprises me by breaking into tears and hugging me. I hug him back and rub his back. Taylor comes up and rests a hand on his lower back in affection. He drags Taylor into the hug. We let the boy cry, before offering him a ride home.
