Hercules POV
"So I heard Hamilton and Laurens finally got together." I said to my best friend and roommate for a while Marquis de Lafayette.
"Oui! I ship them so hard!" Lafayette answered while scavenging for food.
I honestly felt kind of jealous of Alexander and John. They were adorable together and weren't afraid to express their love to one another. I wish i could have a relationship like that. Ugh keep dreaming Herc.
"Hey Laf, got enough food?" I joked, referring to the French dork eating a mountain of food.
"What? I'm hungry!" He laughed as he continued stuffing his face. I laughed along with him. Marquis was a great best friend to have, this guy has been here for me through so much, and when the two lovebirds are out on a date somewhere, we always manage to have a little bit of fun without them.
"Hey, Herc! Catch!" Lafayette yelled as he threw a grape at me. I opened my mouth and caught it. "OHHHHHHH! Hercules is on FIRE!" Lafayette's thick French accent rang across the room causing the both of us to roar in laughter.
Something felt different with Lafayette today than it normally does. I ignored this strange feeling and continued catching food from the French dork that was throwing it at me.

Lafayette's POV
After finding out that Alexander and John got together, I have honestly been a little jealous. I wish that Hercules would like me the way that they like each other. Yes, I'm admitting it. I have a thing for that amazing man. How could you not though? I have to hide my feelings the best I can though, because I know he will never feel the same way about me..... Would he??? When I woke up this morning, I came to the conclusion that I would go talk to Alexander about this. After all, I was the one that helped him confess his love for John. Now it's his turn to help me. I walked to Alexander and John's room silently praying I wasn't about to walk into something.... Ew. A smiling Alexander opened the door.
"Oh thank God I wasn't interrupting anything." I said laughing.
"Nice to see you too, Lafayette. What's up?" Alex laughed, playfully hitting me in the arm.
"Can we go somewhere.... Not here? I need to talk to you about something."

Hercules's POV
Oh good, Alexander and Marquis went somewhere. This is the perfect time to talk to John about my problem. I have been thinking more and more about this amazing French guy and I really need to talk to someone about it. I walked into the living room and found John sitting in a chair reading.
"Laurens, are you reading Alexander's writings again?" I asked laughing.
"Shut up, I may have found his diary and there may be a lot of stuff about me in here." Laurens sighed romantically. I thought about how embarrassing it would be if Marquis found my diary. It has been the only thing I can keep and contain my feelings about him.
"Well since you're not doing anything important, can I talk to you about something?"

Lafayette's POV
"Now you may be wondering why I brought you all the way out here." I said sitting under the shade of a large tree.
"Honestly I think I know what this is about." Alexander said sincerely.
"Then this should be easier than I thought. Okay, I helped you the best that I possibly could when you tried explaining your feelings for Laurens. I'm kind of in the same situation. I mean ever since we got the apartment and I've been rooming with Hercules, I have been feeling this special..... Connection between us."
Alex smiled and said "Well you've come to the right place my friend. I'm glad to help. Plus, I saw this coming forever. John and I kinda made a bet that it was gonna happen. I know you might not believe this, but I am pretty sure that Mulligan feels the same way about you."
"Yeah, right." I scoffed and began playing with the grass.
"No I'm serious. When John and I announced that we were together, I could see the look on his face, it was a look of maybe I have a chance." I smiled at Alexander's words. What if it was true? How do I find out? Should I tell him my feelings and risk our friendship? There must be an easier way!

Hercules's POV
"So let me get this straight, after we all moved in here, and you began rooming with Laf, you have felt differently?" John asked. I nodded. "Now what do you mean by different?"
"I don't know. Like I feel more awkward and nervous about him. I can't tell what these feelings mean."I said putting my head in between my hands.
"Well if I tell you what I think they mean, you will laugh at me." John answered.
"Laurens! Just tell me!" I groaned, tugging at my hair.
"Well it actually sounds like you like Laf." Laurens said. I sat there thinking about those words. Was it true? Do I really like Lafayette?
"I.... I think you're right." I mumbled. Now the real question is how do I tell him? How do I figure out if he likes me back? Will this ruin our friendship?

Lafayette's POV
"Bonjour, Monsieur Mulligan. You look quite nice today." I said in front of the mirror. Monsieur Mulligan? Dear Lord, I would never call Herc that! Okay, try again.
"Bonjour.... Uhhhhh." A knock at the door disturbed me from my practicing. "This better be good Alexander!" I yelled as I swung open the door. "Oh.... H- Hercules. H- h-hi." I could feel my face turn red with embarrassment.
"Hey, Laf is everything okay?" He asked lifting my hands away from my face.
"Oh sure. Everything is fine." I hope he doesn't realize I'm lying. He knows me better than anyone. If he knows I'm lying, what do I do???
"Laf, I know you're lying. Seriously man, you can tell me anything."
"I know, Herc. I just don't know if you will understand."
He came and sat next to me on the edge of the bed. My stomach exploded with nervousness. "Don't be nervous. He's your best friend." I mentally told myself.
"Come on Laf. Tell me."
I had no idea how to tell him. I took a deep breath, then crashed my lips into his. He kissed back forcefully.
"WHAT THE HELL?" We broke away quickly and turned to see a completely stunned Alexander standing in the doorway.
"This isn't what it looks like." I said, embarrassment clear in my voice.
"No, no. Continue! I was just gonna let you know that John and I are going out to eat. Have fun I ship you guys so hard!"
"I'm so sorry!" I said crying. I couldn't hold my tears in any longer. Hercules brought my head up. I met his eyes.
"Shhhhh, Marquis it's okay. Actually, I feel the same way." I saw the redness appear on his cheeks. I smiled and cuddled up into his chest.
"I love you, Herc." I whispered. He kissed my forehead and the butterflies erupted again.
"I love you too Laf. Forever and always."
