Jazzy's POV
I opened the door to my apartment after the matinee performance of Hamilton and saw a piece of paper on the floor. I picked it up and saw my name in fancy handwriting. I opened the letter and read it out loud.
"Go to Starbucks and order a green tea." The letter told me. Um okay. I walked back outside and made my way over to Starbucks.
"Hi, can I order a green tea?" I asked the barista. She handed me my tea which had another clue on the cup. Hm weird, I thought.
"Go to your dressing room. A surprise awaits you there." I read. I thanked the barista and walked back into the busy city while sipping my tea. I turned onto the street of the Richard Rogers theatre and made my way inside.
"Hey, Jazzy? Why are you here?" One of the security guards asked me.
"Hey! I've got these clues and one told me to come to my dressing room because there's a surprise for me there."
"OOOO how mysterious. Have fun Jazz!" He answered. I laughed and walked into my dressing room. On the table there was a bouquet of roses with a card sticking out of the top.
"These flowers will never compare to your beauty. Meet me in Central Park." I blushed and finally figured out that these were from Anthony. I called a taxi after admiring the beauty of the roses then made my way over to Central Park.
When I got there, I paid the driver then began looking for Anthony. In the middle of the park I found him with a picnic lunch set up for the two of us.
"Anthony, what's this?" I asked him as I wrapped my small arms around him.
"Just thought it would be fun." He said kissing my forehead. The two of us sat down and ate our picnic lunch. It was so perfect and it was definitely perfect being with him.
