If your eyes could speak, what would they say?
Would they tell me how many times you've dreamt of Pompeii?
Would they show the deepest parts of Rome?
Or how many nights you've spent alone?

If your eyes could sing, what would be the tune?
Would they release the hypnotic melody by flute?
Would an orchestra begin to play Swan Lake?
Or would they scream that it's too late?

If your eyes could dance, what moves would step?
Would they glide atop the floor, swirling emotions in depth?
Would they ravish the sultry, seductive tango dip?
Or would they move in grace, then slightly slip?

If your eyes were windows, what would they see?
Would they slip across the world so gracefully?
Would they light at the sight of love's face?
Or would they hid emotions, keeping them encased?

If your eyes were walls, what would they stop?
Are they strong enough so they wouldn't ever flop?
Are they hiding your heart from any sense of danger?
Honey, I love you, I'm no stranger.
