After a few minutes a few guys came up and started hitting on us.
“I’m invincible.” One said.
“Oh, really?” I answered while rolling my eyes.
“Can you see me?” He asked.
“Yes.” I answered.
“How about tomorrow night?” He asked.
“No.” I said flatly. He turned and walked away. He was actually kind of cute. Guys are always hitting on us when we go to clubs. I guess it’s a good sign and helps bring up my self-esteem but they always use the same pick-up lines.
“Sierra.” Mackenzie said.
“Yeah?” I asked.
“Why don’t you give at least one guy a chance tonight?” She pleaded. “You need to have fun.”
“I can have fun without giving man whores a shot.” I explained. “Why don’t you?”
“I have a boyfriend.” She stated.
“I know, but dancing isn’t cheating.” I told her.
“Oh, I know. I plan on dancing.” She said with a wink.
I just laughed as another guy approached her.
“You know, your eyes are the same color as my Porsche.” He told her smoothly.
I started laughing and she shot me a mischievous grin. “Oh, really? That’s nice… but my eyes are blue and I don’t really like blue eyes. Sorry.”
He just gaped and walked away.
“Kenz’ let’s dance.” I said,
She laughed and followed me onto the dance floor. We danced together for awhile, a few guys’ eyes on us, but stopped to get some drinks after a few minutes. A few more guys came up to us; one to me and one to Mackenzie.
“Excuse me, I believe you’ve dropped something…my jaw.” He stated.
“I guess you better pick it up then, you’re going to need that.” I said with a wink.
“Why don’t you and I put it to use?” He asked.
I let out a light laugh, rejected him, and listened to the guy who walked up to Mackenzie’s attempt.
“I have a boyfriend.” She informed him.
