On that Saturday which was later proven to contain a deciding factor for Luhan and Sehun's love, Luhan was woken up by the birds singing and the wind blowing soft tunes through the microscopic leaks in his window.
He knew exactly what the time was, he knew that in a few seconds, Sehun would push the door open making a slight noise, causing him to twitch his beautifully structured nose just a little.
Then, he'd make his way to Luhan whom would be pretending to sleep sweetly despite the sharp voices of the birds coming from right outside his window.
Sehun knew that, though. He knew that Luhan was never asleep when he entered the room, and he didn't care.

The first word uttered between the two on a silent morning like this was usually the sweet sound of an important person's name escaping Sehun's lips; "Luhan..."

But today was different.
Today, Sehun's deep, melodic voice was out of tune due to a bad cold he'd caught himself over the last few days.
Only a rather pitiful squeak reached Luhan's ears, and he simply couldn't help but crack the smallest smile. Sehun saw it, nevertheless, and a deviant thought entered his head as he walked with gentle steps towards Luhan's queen sized bed.

"Are you laughing at me?" he asked the boy on the bed with a voice that was just a few notches too high.
"No..." Luhan answered, but his moving shoulders and cracking voice told Sehun otherwise.
"I think you are," he said. He was right beside the bed now, he could smell the sweet and heavy odor of someone who'd just awoken from a deep sleep as he placed first one knee on the soft sheets, then two elbows, one after the other, softly putting the majority of his body weight on the mattress.

Luhan had lost the desire to laugh, and he froze in silence as his giggles died out. Sehun knew exactly what he was doing to him, and he loved it. Luhan's eyes burned holes in the white painted wall as Sehun bent over him, sending waves of something that felt suspiciously much like anticipation down his spine.

Luhan turned his head, slowly, so that he was facing the blond boy who whose face was hanging right over his own, and looked him straight in the eyes as if telling him "I won't back down this time, just so you know".
And Luhan knew he wouldn't.

Looking into that room right at that moment, one would find two boys being in their own world.
One laying down on a queen-sized bed, the other towering over him with an almost unnoticeable smile plastered on his lips while looking down at the boy under himself, his chest rising and lowering itself with his speedy breath.

Luhan felt his heart increase its speed rapidly and his stomach crowd with excited butterflies as Sehun slowly lowered his head, bringing his and Luhan's faces so close together that Luhan could feel his shaky breath on his chin and smell his tempting scent.

Fortunately for Luhan, he wasn't one to have bad morning breath, and Sehun had already brushed his teeth thoroughly.

Luhan caught himself staring at Sehun's pink tinted lips and looked down in embarrassment, feeling the younger's gaze still resting heavily on him. His eyes travelled up Sehun's clothed body, unwillingly picturing what he looked like under them, and when he reached Sehun's eyes he realized that Sehun was staring into his eyes as if he was zoning out. He wasn't, though, he just flooked like that.

He just looked at Luhan like that.

Luhan tensed up. Sehun didn't look away, nor was he intending to do so.
His arms flexed as he slowly lowered himself, getting closer and closer to Luhan's face.
Luhan knew that if he didn't back down at that moment, there would be absolutely no way back out of this. He knew, and he didn't back down.

Instead, he slid his tongue over his lips - unconsciously, though, and closed his eyes halfway so only Sehun's pink lips were in his view.

Sehun's eyes widened for a short moment before closing completely.
He pushed his head forward just a tiny bit - and connected his and Luhan's lips.
They stayed like that for a mere second, then Sehun pulled away from Luhan with an unreadable expression painted in his eyes. What had he just done? Why has he suddenly gotten the urge to touch Luhan's lips with his own? Why did it feel like a billion butterflies were blindly flapping around inside his body?
There were so many questions in his head but the second he threw a nervous glance at the black eyed boy beside him, they all dissolved into thin air.

It was indeed a beautiful Saturday morning.
