Tuesday, 7th of April

Both Minato Arisato and Minako Arisato are in a train specifically to a place called Iwatodai. It's not the first time they've been there. They used to live there until a certain tragedy happened. Returning to that location is not what they wanted but they have no choice. Furthering their studies is their main priority.

The voice at the loudspeaker announced, "The next stop is, Iwatodai."

Minato cringe at the word "Iwatodai". His twin immediately realizes this and comforts him. "Don't worry, brother! There's nothing we can't handle together!" Minato just smile at his beloved younger sister. Even though they are twins, they are completely different. Minato is quiet and cool-looking while Minako is cheerful and somewhat hyper.

After a short conversation with each other, they have arrived. Minato, who is wearing headphones all the time, walk out of the train along with Minako. The clock above them shows the time; 11.59 p.m. It's almost midnight. A couple of seconds later, the clock strucks midnight. That is when everything starts to change.

The blue sky turns green along with the gigantic, gibbous moon. Every electronic devices including Minato's MP3 turns off. The worst part of all, everyone turns in to a shining, red-glowing, black coffins. Puddles of bloods everywhere. Minako is clearly disturbed by this. She held her brother's hand tightly. She says softly, "B-Brother?! W-What's going on?!?!" Minato replied without any facial expression and calmly, almost too calmly as if this is normal to him, "It's alright. I'll protect you. For now, let's go to the dorm" Minako agrees.

Minako is still uncomfortable with the coffins and blood all around the place. As they strolled around the town to search for their dorm, they encounter a place of their darkest fears. 'Moonlight Bridge'. "Brother, this is...", Minako started. He replied instantly, "I don't want to talk about that. I want to forget it." She agrees with him. She also wants to forget that their parents died here 10 years ago. They could do nothing but watch the final moments of their parents.

After about 50 minutes of wandering around, they saw a tall building. It's the 'Iwatodai Dorm'. The dorm they will be staying in throughout the whole year. It has a quite fancy door. Minato open the door and they stare at the fancy-looking interior design of the dorm. Both of them turn to the counter and see a young boy with black short hair, blue eyes and a horizontal black-and-white striped pajamas.

The boy starts, "You're late. I've been waiting a long time for you." The boy snaps his finger and teleports in front of them. He continues, "Now if you want to proceed, please sign your name there." He shows them two paper sheets on the table. "It's a contract. Don't worry.  All it says is that you will accept full responsibility for your actions. You know, the usual stuffs."

Minako looks at her brother, "Should we trust him, brother?" Minato says with a straight face, "Yes. Besides, it doesn't seem like he will allow us to proceed if we don't sign it." Minako nodded. They sign their name on their respective papers and give them to the boy.

The boy chuckles, "No one can escape time. It delivers us all to the same end. You can't plug your ears and cover your eyes." When he finishes his sentence, the papers vanish into thin air. "And so it begins..." he disappears in the shadows.

Before anyone could say anything, a high-pitched voice shouts, "Who's there?!" The twins turn to the owner of the voice. There is a girl with short brown hair, wearing a pink sweater jacket on her school uniform, a black mini skirt and a heart-shaped choker. She is visibly shaking. That's when the Arisato twins notice that she has a gun strapped on her thighs. Just as she is about to grab her gun, a female with an authoritative voice shouts. At that moment, everything returns to normal.

"TAKEBA, WAIT!" The lights turn on along with Minato's MP3. The green sky turns blue. All of them look towards the stairs, where the voice came from. Minato has to admit that he blushes slightly. That is because the owner of the voice has a voluptuous figure, pale skin, long dark red hair covering her left red eye. She is also wearing a school uniform. The redhead say, "I didn't think you'd arrive so late. My name is Mitsuru Kirijo. I'm one of the students who live in this dorm." Minako laughs nervously, "Well...we...got lost but luckily we found our way here." Minato, as always, remains quiet and leaves all the talking to his sister. Mitsuru replied with a slight smile, "I'm glad you found your way here.

The brunette with the gun tilts her head, "Who're they, senpai?""They're transfer students. It was a last minute decision to assign them here. They will eventually be moved to a room in the other dorm," Mitsuru replied casually. The brunette says doubtfully, "Is it okay for them to be here?""I guess we'll see," the redhead smiles and points to the brunette, "This is Yukari Takeba. She'll be a junior this spring just like the both of you." Minako smiles cheerfully, "I'm Minako Arisato and this is my twin, Minato. Nice to meet you!" Yukari returns the smile, "Yeah, nice to meet you too." Minato just do a two-finger salute the girls.

Mitsuru knows that the both of them are tired so she tells them to get some rest. "I'll show Arisato to his room. Takeba, can you take the other Arisato to her room?" Minato finally says something, "Calling the both of us 'Arisato' will be confusing. Don't bother with the formalities. Just call me Minato." Mitsuru agrees with him, "Alright, follow me, Minato-kun." Minako pulls Yukari's hand and runs to the stairs, "Let's go, Takeba-san!"

They climb up a fleet of stairs and walk into a hallway. Mitsuru shows Minato his room, "This is your room. It should be easy to remember since it right at the end of the hallway on the 2nd floor. I must warn you though, do NOT go to the third floor without a good reason. It's the girls area." Minato replies," Understood." Mitsuru smiles, "Good. Other than that, I'm really glad you made it here safely. I'm sure you have a lot of questions but I promise I'll answer them later when the time is right." Minato looks at her with a serious expression, "Sure thing, senpai." She replies," Well, have a pleasant night, Arisato.""You too," Minato says as he enters his room and closes the door.
