Chapter 16: Hanging out (Part 2)

Akihiko: We should get going.

Minako: Wait, senpai!

Akihiko jumps off the bar and turns back to look at her.

Akihiko: What is it? Can't get down? *chuckle*

Minako: *blush* N-No...That's not it..

She jumps down and gaze deep into his eyes. Her face is slightly red.

Minako: Senpai... I...

Akihiko: Hm?

Minako: I want you to know that...I...

Minako blushes harder, if that is even possible. Her red eyes are still looking intently at his.

 Minako: I--!!

The group of crows caws loudly while flying over them. From afar, it looks as if a black mist hovers over them swiftly. The sound of the crows are too loud that it overwhelms Minako's sweet voice. Akihiko is unable to hear anything that she is saying. Her eyes are closed and her face is red. She seems like she is very serious about whatever she is saying because he could feel her strong passion radiating on his skin. As soon as she is done, the flock of birds are gone too.

Akihiko is confused, not knowing how to react. Should he ask her to repeat herself? Probably not. Woman do NOT like to repeat themselves. After looking at her with a clueless expression for a moment, his lips stretch to form a huge smile. His smile startles Minako slightly and she stutters shyly.

Minako: W-Why? I-Is...something...wrong?

He lifts his right hand and waves it slightly, signalling her to come to him. Minako is confused but she obeys. When she walks closer to him, he pats her on the head while speaking in a sweet tone.

Akihiko: You are hungry, aren't you?

Minako: EHHHHH!?!?

Minako is utterly shocked, followed by a feeling a rage. DID AKIHIKO NOT HEAR HER? She feels as if a volcano has erupted in her. How could he?! She tried her very best to say that to him. Doesn't he know how difficult it is?! Controlled by anger, she smacks Akihiko very hard in the head. Akihiko moans in pain while looking at her in bewilderment. Before he could ask her why, she yells angrily. 

Minako: NO, I'M NOT! DID YOU NOT HEAR WHAT I JUST SAID?!

Akihiko: Mina--

Minako: AND DON'T JUST PAT ME ON THE HEAD LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED!

She walks away, stomping her feet on every step. She did not look back at him because she is really mad at him. He holds his head and did not move an inch. He is afraid that if he chase after her, she will be angrier. Apparently, it is true. She does not want him to follow her or comfort her. While watching her leave, Akihiko wonders what he should have said. Obviously, asking her if she is hungry is the worst answer.

After a few minutes of walking around subconsciously, her stomach growls loudly. She realizes that she's lost. Walking around angrily is really dangerous because she is not paying attention to where she is going. Not knowing what else to do, she looks up at the sky. It has a mix of orange, red, yellow, blue and purple. What a colourful and beautiful sunset indeed. The white clouds are definitely enhancing the calming sight.

Minako: A shade of blue is known as azure...Looking at the sky can be a cure...

She whispers to herself. Then, she smiles slightly.

Minako: Even though the sky is not azure, it's still true...How surprising...

As she is wondering about what to consume for dinner, she looks to her left, where a variety of restaurant lies in front of her. Soon, she decided to go into the world-renowned Hagakure Ramen, where supposedly, the ramen is the best. The moment she enters the restaurant, the aroma of delicious ramen fills the air.
