{14} Working & Deadly

Bella's Pov-

"Mum," I cried into her shirt. I was led on to believe that she was dead for almost a year. I sobbed into her shirt until I ran out of tears. "How?"

"Sit down and I'll explain," She said to me as she wiped her tears. We all sat on the couch as she started to explain. "So about a year ago, I was beaten almost to death. I was declared dead until the doctors found out I still had a beating heart. I was released from the hospital about a week ago. During my stay I wasn't allowed to use a phone or and internet related devices," she told me. Forgetting Gemma was there until she rubbed my back.

"Enough about me, what have you been up to?" She asked me. So I began my journey.

"Well, Harry saved me from being raped one night," I shuddered, " Then we kinda fell in love. I was offered a modeling job so I took it then I was on a tv show about a few months ago." I told her leaving out the part about the babies. Gemma looked at my flat stomach.

"Why is your stomach flat?" Gemma asked. My mom looked at us warily.

"You mean.." She began but I finished the sentence.

"I was pregnant," I said looking down.

"Was?" They both asked surprised. I nodded.

"I had a miscarriage," I muttered feeling the tears brim my eyes. I saw Gemma silently gasp out of the corner of my eye.

"Oh hunny, I'm so sorry," Mum said rubbing my back. I cried into my hands as they both rubbed my back.

"I saw you though.." I whispered looking up at my mum. She looked at me confused. "You took my baby boy, you both looked like angels," I said faintly to her.

"Shh maybe the jet lag has gotten to you, go get some sleep." My mum told me. I nodded and went upstairs. I changed into some comfy clothes and laid down. I stared at the ceiling fir god knowshow long until I fell asleep.

Emily's Pov-

"She's asleep right now," Mrs. Johnson told me. Yes I knew she was alive but I didn't say anything to anyone. I looked down disappointed.

"Oh," I said, "I'll see you later," I told her. I walked away then pulled out my phone. I called Niall as soon as I sat in the car.

"Hey," He said.

"Hellloooo" I dragged out the word.

"Hey babe whats up?" He asked.

"Nothing, when do you get off tour?"

"Not until another month or two." I sighed lowly. Suddenly I heard movement around the car. I started breathing heavily out of fright.

"Emily, are you alright?" Niall asked concerned.

"No," I regretted saying that.

"Why whats happened?" He started panicking.

"I think someones out side of my car," I whispered. The rustling continued until it suddenly stopped.

"Is there a house nearby?"

"Yes,"

"Make a run for it," He said calmly.

"Stay on the phone with me," I begged. He muttered an okay as I slowly opened the door. I heard footsteps as my heart started thumping loudly.  I slammed the door and made a run for it. I opened the door to Harry and Bella's flat and slammed it shut locking it fastly then leaning up against it. I was out of breath as I lifted my phone up to my ear.

"I made it," I panted. I heard a sigh of relief on the other side.

"Okay, can you just... stay there for the night?" He asked me.

"Yeah," I said.

"I have to go love bye!" He then hung up. I sighed and walked into the living room. Gemma was laying face down snoring loudly. I laid down on the other couch and closed my eyes. I soon fell asleep.


Bella's Pov-

"Emily, wake up," I shook Emily. I woke up a few minutes ago and came downstairs and saw Emily asleep on the couch along with Gemma who was on the other couch. I finally got annoyed and just pushed her off the couch.

"Oww," Emily whined. I laughed as she rubbed her head and glared at me.

"Why are you here?" I asked her.

"Well, last night I came to talk to you but your mum said you were sleeping so I just came in and slept on the couch," I knew the wasn't the full story but I didn't question it further.

"Well, I have to go to work, so I'll see you in a few hours," I told her. She nodded and I got up and grabbed my bag. I walked outside and got into Harry's range rover. I started the car and drove to the studio.


A few minutes later, I arrived there and I walked in."Hi Denise!"I chirped. She said 'Hi' back then I walked into the room where they would be taking the pictures.

"Ah, Welcome back Bella!" Elizabeth welcomed me. I hugged her then she ushered me into my dressing room.

"Bella, this is your first outfit, Here,"Kayla said handing me my clothes. I went into the bathroom and changed into them. I slipped the TOMS on then walked back into the dressing room. Kayla sat me down and began on my hair and make-up.

Soon, I was done and was ushered out of my dressing room and into this big room with a back drop.

"OKay, just stand here and have fun," Joesph ordered. I did as he said and stood in the middle. I kicked one foot up and giggled as he took the picture. After a few more pictures I was ushered back into the dressing room for my next outfit. 

It felt weird with a shirt that was as short as a bra. I walked out as Kayla's jaw dropped.

"Perfect," She smiled.


After doing one last outfit, I was back in my sweats.

I walked into the room with Elzabeth and Kayla. Elzabeth turned towards me and said, "In a week, you are scheduled to do a shoot for NEO, that is on the 20th" I nodded.

"What time should I be here?" I asked them.

"1 o'clock," Kayla answered. I nodded and thanked them the said bye. I left and headed over to Dani's. I haven't seen her in awhile and plus I wanted to see Andrew and Mia. I got in the car and started the drive.

I raised my phone to my mouth and spoke, "Call Dani,"

"Calling Dani," The automatic voice said. The phone rang and soon Dani picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Dani," I chirped.

'Hey! I heard your back in London!" She exclaimed.

"Yup! I'm on my way over to your flat," I told her. I kept my eyes focused on the road as both hands gripped the steering wheel and the phone sat on my lap.

"Yay! Mia will be happy," She responded.

"Can't wait to see-oh shit," I cussed. Ahead of me, was a big rig coming straight for me.

"What's wrong?" She asked worriedly. I swerved around trying to avoid it but it was no use. Soon only my high-pitched screams for help were fading away as I laid, limply in Harry's broken car.


Dani's Pov-

I heard Bella's scream and then a gut renching sound of a crash. My lips started to shake. "oh my god," I whispered. It was either Bella was really good at sound effects or she was just in a crash. I placed Mia down and quickly dialed Harry's number.

"What?" He mumbled sleepily.

"Bella!" I sobbed out.

"What?" He asked again but stronger.

"She was just in a car crash!" I cried.
