I jumped into the river, swimming towards her.
"LEIA! HOLD ON I'M COMING!"
I shouted. I turned my head, the twins still running after us.
I grabbed hold of Leia and pulled her up from under the water.
As I went to turn back, the river got louder.
"WATERFALL!?" Leia shouted in panic.
She tightened her grip on my hand as we came to the edge of the waterfall.
I noticed a root from a tree sticking out of the ground within an arm's reach.
"JUMP THRE!" I shouted.
We reached for the root of the tree as we went over the edge.
Leia grabbed on looking over at me.
I had one hand on. The other trying to reach up.
"LEIA I'M SLIPPING!" I looked at the water below it wasn't very deep and would die if I fall.
I lost my grip.
"ARNIA NO!!" Leia grabbed my hand just before I had fallen to my death.
"YOU NEED TO JUMP FOR THE ROCKS BESIDE YOU!" Laura shouted.
I looked at where she was pointing.
"SWING ME!" I ordered.
Leia was hanging on with one hand.She swung me to the rocks,losing her grip and swinging her left hand back onto the roots.
"I CAN'T HOLD ON MUCH LONGER!"
Lara reached out and grabbed my hand pulling me up.
"Leia, you need to jump to me." Lara's voice was calm but you could hear it over the sound of the water rushing.
"WHAT?! NO I-I CAN'T!" Leia was holding on by her fingers.
I got worried and started sweating.
"I'll catch you, I promise." Lara put her hands out. "I'll catch you"
Leia closed her eyes. I could tell that she was terrified of what would happen if she was to fall.
She jumped. Everything went in slow motion as she caught hold of Lara's hand.
A sigh of relief came from Laura as she helped Lara lift Leia up.
Leia held onto my shoulder.
"Did that just fucking happen?"
She laughed but it seemed forced.
"Why where you in the river exactly?" Laura asked.
"You won't believe it!" Leia screeched. "A Saber Tooth Tiger came over to me so I had to crawl into the river to prevent it from sniffing me out."
She paused looking at Laura and Lara."Who are you and where are we."
"Long story short, we lived in the house you teleported through and you are in the year 10,000 bce." Laura smiled at her.
"Ah shit"
