A Time In Time

Chapter Eight

######The Next Day########

Leia's POV:

I was wandering through a forest, not one that I know,but I somehow knew my way.I touched every tree that I passed, ending up near a river.
When I looked in I could see nothing. It was like I wasn't even there.And then the river turned red. I tried to run but something pulled me by my legs into the river. I couldn't see anything, but I was moving very fast.

I eventually got to the surface of the water. It had turned black and I could see a hooded figure ahead, floating in mid air, holding it's hands out infront of me.
I quickly ducked back under, but when I did, I started falling, falling into a circular fighting ring.Not like the ones nowadays but a very old one.

It got nearer and nearer to the ground until I hit it.But I wasn't dead.

I had been stabbed below my heat and I felt weak, there were dead bodies all around me and I couldn't see Arnia fighting this tall figure.

Then I woke up. On the floor of the room Arnia and I had passed out in.

I shook her shoulder trying to wake her up, but she wouldn't.

I placed my finger on her pulse.

She was alive but just wouldn't wake.

"She okay, child. She will wake." Adisha was sitting down cooking something meaty.

"Why, why won't she wake up?"

Adisha looked at me. "She dream about what must happen."

"What about me? My dream, I was dying." I sat up.

Adisha went from looking at me to looking at my ankle.

"You were in pain, dream was bad. You are healed, no more bad dream."

She waa right, my ankle had healed.

Arnia shot up quickly, her eyes wide open.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yes, just had a weird dream like I was on drugs and I could fly."

We quietly laughed.

Arnia's POV :

I didn't tell her everything, we'll the white wolf was in my dream,
And it guided me to a valley.I was looking down on a valley.
There were white fluffy clouds and the sun was beaming down on me.Then an eagle landed on a tree near me and it looked at me.
When I reached out to touch it, it opened up its wings really wide and carried me over the valley, over a lake and over a forest.
It stopped flying when we were over a forest and we started falling. Everything went in slow motion as I fell and when I landed I was lying in a bed of black roses. I had a crown of black roses and I was wearing a black short dress.

The white wolf approached me with its head down, staring at me.As it got closer its fur faded into a grey and then into a black.
And that's when it got dark because as soon as I put my hand on the wolf, I could hear Leia screaming in pain.

That's whem I woke up. I didn't tell her because it wasn't necessary for her to know.
It would have upset her, scared her.

###########Later############

We spent some time learning how to use a bow, and a weird thing called a club. They were made using a thick stick and a rock on top tied together usually used for killing or lighting the top of it to use as a torch.
We also learned how to skin an animal and to be stealthy about killing them.

Let's just say it was a long day.

"I'm going to take a break Leia, I'll be right back."

"Sure, just be careful."

I was hot and needed to just clear my head. I sometimes got light headed and I'd usually just go to my room but I don't have that anymore.

I sat by the river looking down into it at my reflection.

"You can get out of here, you can.!" I said, reassuring myself.

I bowed my head down and closed my eyes.

"What's the point?" I whispered.

A reflection above me moved making me jerk my head up to see.

A bear was sitting on the rocks above me.

"You have to be kidding me!" I squealed.

It roared loudly jumping down to get me.I quickly moved out of the way, rolling on the ground.I jumped to my feet and pressed up against the tree in shock. The bear charged at me with its claws so I ducked down and ran as fast as I possibly could. I didn't run to the camp because it would kill the people, so I ran to a nearby branch and started climbing it. I climbed to the highest I could go and looked down at the bear.

I know, stupid idea, you can't out run, out climb or out swim a bear, but it bought me some more time.

It started climbing the tree so I started screaming.

"SOMEBODY HELP!! PLEASE ANYBODY???!!!"

I closed my eyes and held onto the tree tightly when the bear yelped in pain. When I opened my eyes again there was an arrow shot through the bear's eye.I looked at where it came from and saw a boy around sixteen or seventeen with a bow shooting at the bear.Eventually the bear fell from the tree landing harshly on the ground.
The boy ran over to the tree. He had reddish-brown hair, blue eyes and freckles all over his face.

"Are you okay?" he asked. He was Irish like myself.

"Are you speaking in English?"

You are an idiot!

He laughed at this.
"Yes,why do you ask?"

"Well... um, it's a long story.."
I blushed.

"Let me help you down." He put his hand out. I climbed down and wrapped my arms around him as he helped me down off the tree.

"Thanks for the food." He smiled, and it was a smile that made my heart jump.

"Y-you're welcome!" I said shyly.

"The names Ryan, Ryan Persy." He shook my hand.

"Arnia, Arnia Dwyer." He was a head taller than me,which kinda hurt my neck to look up at him.

"Where are you going now?" He asked his voice very deep.

"That way." I pointed to the camp.

"Oh that's cool so am I." He smiled again.

"I better get going." I gestured, smiling back.

"After what happened, I think I should go with you."

He skinned the bear and we walked back to the camp together.

"You're not from here are you?" I asked.

"No," he sighed "I was taken 2 years ago and brought here, but my friends,these two girls saved me from the people who kidnapped me and brought me here."

"We were taken to, but managed to escape, my friend Leia broke her ankle and I went to find help and came across the twins, Laura and Lara-"

"Wait they were the ones who saved me!" We chuckled.

When we got back Leia was waiting.

"Arnia!! where were you?!" She questioned, hugging the.

"Almost got killed by a bear." I said casually. "But Ryan saved me."

"Hi." He waved at Leia who smiled and blushed.

"Well, thank you Ryan."She fluttered her eyelashes at him.

She's hitting on him!
