Story of a Girl

*Tony's POV*

I open my eyes and see a bright like shining through the gaps in my curtains. I pull the covers over my head hoping to go back to sleep. Last night was the first time that I slept without nightmares. I slept without the memories that have haunted me for the last 3 years. I groan and realize that I can't go back to sleep. I sit up and stretch my arms. I look over at my alarm clock that reads 12:57. Man, I slept for a long time. I placed my feet on the soft carpet and realize what I have been missing for the last 3 years. I walk over to the bathroom and look in the mirror. No blood-shot eyes, no bags, no tear stained cheeks I look like Tony Stark, not some stranger with my soul. Man, I have to get ready for my date. A date. I have a date with Alli today. I look back in the mirror and I'm smiling. I'm actually smiling. And as I look at this smiling face I realize that this is the happiest I have ever been in 3 years, and its all because of Alli. After I shower, I got dressed, and fixed my hair. Okay, lets do this.

*Alli's POV*

I'm extra jittery this morning. I mean what girl wouldn't be, I have a date with Tony Stark. A date. Wow. I haven't had a date in forever and I have never had a boyfriend. I take a shower and got dressed. I look in the mirror and see a smile on my face. This is the happiest I've been in a long time, and it's all because of Tony Stark. I grabbed my keys and my shoes and headed off to Stark Tower to have pizza the one and only Tony Stark.

*Tony's POV*

I have jitters, since when has Tony Stark had jitters. I guess it's just her. She's... different. She gets me. I've only known her 2 days and I'm falling in love with her. She makes me happy and that's all that matters right now. Me and Alli.  Alli and I. I'm sitting on the couch, looking impatiently at the clock, 5:57. Another minute passes. 5:58. And another 5:59. The elevator doors open and revile the girl that I've been waiting my whole life for, Alli. I walk over to her and pull  her in for a hug. My arms wrapped around her waist hers wrapped around my neck. 
"Hey, I missed you." I say to her softly.
"I missed you too." She replies softly in my chest.
And just like that the best night of my life took off.
*Later that night* 
We just finished the pizza and now we are on the couch her head on my lap and her feet dangling from the arm rest. I was playing with her hair and she was playing with my arc reactor like yesterday. She looked up in my eyes and I locked eyes with her. She sat up. Her face inches from mine. I placed my hand on her cheek. I leaned in, she leaned in. I closed my eyes and our lips touched. It was like sparks, wait no fireworks. She pulled away and I looked at her.
"Tony, I like you alot but I don't just want to be your second choice." She said looking down.
"Hey," I said softly. I put my hand under her chin andforced her to look at me. "I'm over Pepper. I learned that a true love story never ends."
"What do you mean?" She asked.
I looked at her straight in the eye and told her, "I want to be your modern day knight in high-tech armor."
She looked at me and smiled. "My knight in red and gold armor thats kinda catchy." she said laughing and playing with my already messy hair.
"I'll be your knight who fights for justice and you'll be my girlfriend." I say back to her.
"Iron Man's girlfriend, that sounds like quite a title. I don't know if I'm up for it." She said sarcasticly.
"Oh, shut up." I said pulling her in for another kiss. This one was better than the first.
"My knight." She said after we broke the kiss.
"My savior." I replied. And with that Alli snuggled up next to me and fell asleep. I picked her up and carried her upstairs. I placed her on my bed. I took my shirt off and climbed into bed next to her. Her eyes opened slowly.
"Tony" She said softly.
"Hey Babe it's just me go back to sleep." I said softly putting my arm around her waist pulling her close to me. She snuggled up and put her arm on my chest.
"Tony?" She asked.
"Yeah, babe." I answered.
"I love you Tony." She said looking up at me.
"I love you too Alli." I said softly not looking away from her eyes. And with that we both drifted to sleep.
