Life's all about moments of impact and how they change our lives forever. I'm more of a Tony Stark fan. It's a date. I love you Tony. I love you too Alli. Tony help. Tony Brent is coming for you. Challenge accepted. Tony, I went out for a walk. Don't worry I already got James Rhodes. I'll put the match down. Well guys, I have exciting news. I could stay here with you forever. If I win this award then marry me. Where's Alli? Tony, get down to the hospital. Its your fault she's in here. Mr. Stark, Alli won't remember you.

I struggle for air as I open my eyes. My heart beating faster than it should. I rub my eyes, telling myself it was a dream even though I knew it wasn't. For the last week I've been telling myself lies to calm myself down. The doctor told me that because of the extreme stress and shock that I have occasional, horrifying panic attacks. They last a matter of seconds, but the attack replays every memory since Alli and I met. It replays all the moments of impact. I rest my head on my knees, trying to clear my mind. Its been on nonstop since I got the call that Alli was in the hospital. I look up at the empty waiting room and see Rhodey casually make his way over to where I am. Rhodey and I made up a day after he dropped off the pictures, but nothing has been the same. There is still tension in our once easy relationship. Tension that might never go away. I look up at Rhodey, who is now in talking distance from me.

"She's awake." Rhodey states before turning and walking down the long hallway. I stand up and look at Belle at the front desk. I walk over to her and she smiles, obviously knowing what's going on.

"Hey Sweetie." Belle greets me. I smile back at her, Belle has been my rock for the past week. I talk to her every night, when no one is around. Belle straightens my jacket and ruffles my hair, trying to make me look perfect as usual. She stands back and inspects her work.

"Perfect. Now go impress the hell out of this girl." She states, grinning the whole time. I laugh at her and smile, my boss scrunching up at the end.

"Oh Lord, do that for her. That will melt her heart in seconds." Belle informs me laughing in between sentences. I roll my eyes and look at her.

"Off I go." I tell her, winking at the end as I turn around and start walking down the hallway.

"Good luck Romeo." Belle tells me before I get down the hall. I laugh, knowing I'll need all the luck I can get. I start down the hallway, smiling at familiar faces on the way. As I get to Alli's door I see Rhodey standing next to it.

"Hey Rhodey, we able to go inside?" I ask him, slightly confused.

"Yeah, there's just something you should probably know." Rhodey tells me as I open the door.

"Yeah?" I ask as I walk in, Rhodey right behind me.

"Hey Baby!" Alli greets. I turn around faster than what I thought was humanly possible. I look at her and almost faint. It was really her and she remembered me.

"Hey Babe." Rhodey tells her, walking over and kissing her. I stare in disbelief. I collapse in one of the chairs next to her bed. I place my hands on my head, trying to keep in my anger. No one should kiss her, but me. I'm her fiancée. I glare at Rhodey as he places his hand in Alli's. She laughs at him and he smiles. I stand up and walk out of the room. I stop when I hear footsteps trailing behind me. I turn around  and face Rhodey.

"You dated her?" I ask furious.

"Yeah, just a month or two when she first moved in. I guess that's what she remembered." He answers, shrugging it off like it's nothing.

"You just kissed my fiancée." I growl at him.

"Woah, woah fiancée?" He asks, scratching his forehead.

" Yeah, fiancée. I asked her to marry me at the hotel." I mumble, my fists clenched and my jaw set.

"Dude, that sucks. But this is what she remembers now. Just try to for into her life." He tells me patting my on the shoulder. I swat his hand away in disgust.

"No, she's going to remember. Even if it takes a lifetime, I'll be there when she does." I tell him.

"It's time to let her go. The way she kissed, smiled, and smelled. You have to let it go. The way her hand for in yours. The way she said your name, you have to let it go. Because the is who she was, not who she is." Rhodey states and then turns to walk away.

"How do you look at someone you love and tell yourself that it is time to walk away." I say, in the thin air separating us.

"There's a first time for everything." Rhodey tells me.

"You know she's not yours?" I ask him. Rhodey turns to face me. His face inches from my own.

"Really? Does she kiss you and call you baby? Does she live with you and holds your hand? Because right now she does, but she does it to me. So, I guess you just can't accept the fact that the good guy won this time." Rhodey spits, snickering at the end. I glare at him and start walking bumping into his side as I push past him. I walk onto Alli's room, Rhodey nowhere in sight. She smiles. As I enter.

"So, you're Iron Man." She states.

"Yes, yes I am." I agree grinning at her. I sit on the edge of her bed and look at her.

"So, can you tell me why I'm here because Rhodey told me it wasn't important." She says, sighing at the end. I look at her crystal blue eyes and sigh.

"Well you see, life is all about the moments of impact..."
