Tony's POV

It has been a week since The incident and apparently Iron Man is all over the news again...

"We have recent footage of Iron Man Flying around New York. By what we have gathered he was rescuing a random girl, her identity unknown at the moment. Tony Stark retired playboy has been a hermit for 3 years and now out of the blue he decides to become Iron Man again? Does something smell a little fishy about that? There are so many questions Mr. Stark has failed to answer. He has failed us. He believes he can just become our hero again after abandoning us after he said he will always be here. Tony Stark may be a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist and Iron Man may be a hero but, is it possible to trust either one again? I think Mr. Stark has proven that he undependable and unable to control his emotions because that is obviously why he had become a hermit. He was to hurt by his romantic interest at the time, Pepper Pots, death and couldn't take it. It is clear Love and Mr. Stark do not get along, they are more like a chemical reaction. I believe the question on everyone's mind now is Tony Stark/Iron Man friend or foe?"

As Alli and I watch the news story I tensed up and I think Alli could tell because started rubbing my back. When it was over I immediately got up to get a drink. I punched my fist into the wall while going to the kitchen leaving a fist sized dent. Alli immediately got worried and followed me.
"Tony, calm down please." She said frantically, while sitting up on the counter.
"Babe, I am calm." I say with a fake smile. I clutch the drink so hard in my hand that it just shatters under the pressure.
"Yeah, thats really calme Tony." She says sarcastically. I glare at her.
"Tony, come on. Don't be mad at me now." She said softly. I immediately felt guilty.
"I'm not mad at you I'm just mad at the damn reporter." I said coldly. I turned and started walking out of the room. Alli got up and started tugging on my wrist.
"Tony stop. I want to tell you.." She said.
"What? That everyone hates me! That everyone thinks I'm a dick! That everyone thinks that all Tony Stark does is listen, smile, agree and then do whatever the fuck he was gonna do anyways! I know that!" I snapped interrupting her. She immediately took a step back and let go of my wrist. I could see she was on the verge of tears because I just yelled at her for the first time.
"Alli, I'm sorry. I'm just really mad but, I'm not mad at you. Damn it I just screw up everything. You deserve so much better than this screw up Alli." I said looking at the ground. After a second she wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me close resting her head on my chest.
"I don't want just any screw up. I want this screw up." She said smiling into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her close to me.
"You know my dad used to tell me that you either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. I think I'm living long enough to see myself become the villain." I say to her.
"And why is that?" She asks pulling away.
"Everyone hates me, Alli. I'm not their hero anymore, I'm their Villain." I said softly.
"You're my hero." She replied softly looking her perfect blue eyes with mine.
"You know  I love you right?" I ask.
"Yes, do you know I love you?" She replies.
"Yes I do and it is very nice to hear." I say. I lean in and kiss her, but get interupted by my phone ringing. I pull away from her and answer it.
"Tony Stark speaking" I say.
"Hello Tony this is Morgan Radkey from channel 5. I'd like to interview you tonight for the  6 o'clock news."
"Sure, see you then." I answer and hang up. Alli looks at me confused.
"So, Babe would you like to come to an interview with me?" I ask her. She looks at me in shock for a little while.
"Umm, sure." She says hesitantly.
