I'll Be Here For You

*Tony's POV*

I've never believed in miracles. Why would I? I've never had any miracles, I've only had tragedies  My mom and dad dying in a car accident, Obadiah trying to kill me 3 times, Obadiah killing Pepper, me killing Obadiah, I on the verge of death because I had no antidote. There have been no miracles in my life. Everyone I love dies, they leave, they abandon me. But as I look down and see Alli's head on my chest, her body snuggling close to mine, her hand across my chest, all I can think of is this is a miracle. Miracles happen everyday we just have to change our perception of what a miracle is we'll see them all around us. Alli is my miracle. And no matter what, everyday I spend with her will be the best day of my life. People say life itself is the miracle of miracles, I happen to disagree. Life has been a let down. Alli is my one and only miracle. And as she's snuggling into my chest and I realize how shitty my past was I realize out of difficulties come miracles. And she definitely was worth the wait. I look down at her and see her eyes open slowly. She looks scared like she doesn't know where she is.
"Hey, hey it's just me." I say softy to her, running my hand through her hair gently. She looks up at me with her beautiful blue eyes that I could stare at all day. She instantly relaxes at the sight of me and smiles.
"What was with the freaking out on my all of a sudden?" I ask her tracing shapes on her hand that is across my chest. She props herself up on her elbows and looks at me.
"I guess I'm just not used to waking up next to Tony Stark." She replied with a smirk. I rolled my eyes.
"Tony Stark isn't so great. I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make a lot of mistakes, I am out of control and hard to handle." I say back looking at my hands.
"Tony, you only named the worst things about yourself. You left out that your sweet, kind, caring, a gentleman when you want to be, hilarious, and down right sexy." She says, while playing gently with my hair. I grab her hand and she looks at me.
"Not as sexy as you." I say. I roll us over not realizing how close we are to the edge of the bed. Next thing I know my back is on the ground and Alli is on top of my. We both start laughing. Once we catch our breath she looks at me.
"Well, that was very sexy." She says sarcastically.
"The sexiest." I reply and wink at her. She gives me a peck on the lips.
"You're such a dork." She says and rolls off of me.
"So now I'm funny and sexy. This is just a good day for me." I reply.
"Did I mention cocky?" She asks. I smile at her.
"Come on it wouldn't be me if I weren't cocky." I counter argue.
"Sure Tony. Hey, I better be going Rhodey is going to wonder where i am." She says. I pout.
"Oh, shit! Rhodey I forgot about him. What are we going to say?" I panic.
"Hey Tony," She says softly, placing her hand on my cheek rubbing soothing circles into me skin with her thumb. "What Rhodey doesn't know won't kill him."
"You know I love you right." I say with a smile.
"Yes, but it's nice to hear it." She replies. I lean in and kiss her passionately.
"Tony, I love you but I have to get going. I'll call you as soon as I get home you anxious, clingy freak." She says.
"Ha-Ha. I love you too." I reply. She pecks me on the lips and walks into the elevator.
"Call me!" I yell.
"God, Tony you are such a girl!" She yells back. I laugh. That went well.

*Alli's POV*

I just left Stark Tower. That actually went well. I took a short cut through a back alley.
"Hey Babe." I hear a voice say. At first I thought it was Tony, but once I turned around I knew it wasn't. The strange man was walking faster towards me. I turn around and start walking faster.
"Come on Babe, I just want to show you what you are missing." He spat. That disgusted me, no one should should ever say that to me, except Tony but that besides the point. I decided to call Tony.
*RING*
*RING*
*RING*
"Hey Babe, that was quick." He said I smiled at the sound of Tony's voice.
"Tony" I say, my voice cracked.
"Hey, Baby are you okay. Do you need me to come over?" He asked being concerned little Tony again.
"Tony, help." I whimpered.
"Come on Babe you don't need that phone, I can show you a good time." The stranger said. I just want Tony. And with that the phone was on the floor, smashed. The stranger pulled out a switchblade and put it to my neck.
"Good-bye Tony." I whisper.

*Tony's POV*

"Tony, help" Alli whimpered into the phone. What is going on.
"Come on Babe you don't need that phone, I can show you a good time." A man says. Who the hell thinks they can talk to her like that. I heard another cry from Alli and the line went dead.  Oh, shit. I got to find her. She was on her way back home she must have taken a short cut or something. I run faster than Flash ever could down to my lab. It has been about a year since I've been down here. Assemble the suit. And in a few moments I was back in my Iron Man suit. It felt good, it felt right. I need to be the hero, for Alli. And with that I blast out  of  my house and out to find Alli

  I'm still flying around checking ever alley. Every street. Every crevasse. I will not stop until I find her.
"Good-bye Tony." Alli's voice had been detected by my suit. And in two seconds I spot her pinned up against a wall by some guy.
"You are so sexy." He says. I tense up when I see him kissing her neck. Her hands balled up and to her sides like shes going to sock him. That's my girl.
"Hey, if you love sexy you are going to love me." I say to the guy landing.
"Oh, well. Iron Man's your little boyfriend. That's so sweet I have a cavity." He spat. I looked over at Alli. She looked so fragile and defenseless. It broke my heart. And with that I was flying at him, pushing him straight into the wall. I turn back around to Alli her eyes closed. No.
"Alli, do you hear me?" I plead. She opened her eyes and laughed.
"I see you dressed up for the occasion." She replied. I smiled.
"I thought it was time to suit up." I said with a grin.
"Yeah, okay Barney Stintson." She replied sarcastically.
"We need to get you home." I added seriously, while picking her up.
"Tony I don't want to go home. I don't want to be alone." She whispered into my chest.
"I'll never leave you alone, ever." I said looking her straight in the eye. I then started off to Stark Tower.
"You really are my knight in red and gold armor." was the last thing she whispered before drifting to sleep in my arms.
