Chapter 1

Author's POV

"It's Jeon Jungkook...."

"Hey isn't he the son of that mafia family?"

"I know... we better stay away from him...."

"It's not safe to be around him...."

Those are the words that Jungkook always hear whenever he is out. People fear him.

His name is Jeon Jungkook, he is 17 years old and the youngest son of the infamous Mafia group, the Jeon group.

It's normal for people to feel that way because his family often causes disturbance in his neighborhood.

If you mess with them, you're as good as dead.

Jungkook on the other hand has a different personality than his family members. He doesn't plan in succeding and becoming the new boss of the family.

Unlike them, Jungkook doesn't like hurting people. He's a really innocent child. But no matter how hard Jungkook try to socialize with people, they always stayed away from him.

That, made Jungkook gave up in having friends and adjusted himself as a loner that doesn't have any friends.

"Jungkook, are you sure you want to go to school?" His mother asked him out of concern at the dining table.

Jungkook lightly nodded his head while eating his peanut butter and jam toast.

"I know you're having a hard time and if you want, we can hire you a tutor so you can study more peacefully." His mother said

"I'm okay, mom. Don't worry about it." Said Jungkook with a smile.

Even though his family is violent on the outside, from the inside they are a warm and normal family.

"Just tell me if somebody bothers you, I'll be ready to kick their ass anytime." Said his oldest brother, Jin while patting Jungkook's head.

"I won't lose to Jin-hyung. If somebody bothers my kookie, I will send them straight away to the hospital." Exclaimed J-hope, the second older brother while laughing.

Jungkook just laughed at his hyungs silly actions. The three of them are very close and overprotective towards each other. That's the one thing made Jungkook very glad he is born in this family.

"I heard there's a new neighbour going to move in tomorrow. Right in front of the house." Said Jungkook's father.

"Really? We have to test them if they are worthy enough to become our neighbor then." J-hope said feeling excited.

"Noo!! Don't do anything if they haven't done anything wrong." Pleaded Jungkook.

"Huh, soft as always~" Jin said.

"Please, just this time let us get along well with our neighbor." Jungkook showed his puppy dog eyes.

"Hmm.... just consider yourself lucky because you're so cute!! Okay then, just this time, we will not do anything to them. But remember if they do anything that threaten us, we won't stop at any cost." J-hope said.

"Okay!!!" Jungkook's face brightened.

'At last, I may have a chance of getting a new friend. I hope they're nice..' Jungkook thought before he took his backpack and went to school.
