Jungkook's POV

I decided.

Today, I must talk to him.

It's been over 2 weeks since Taehyung started avoiding me.

Despite all my attempts to talk to him, he somehow always managed to get away.

The number of robbery by V are also increasing as seen in the news. But as always, no murdery involved.

I began to notice the dark circles that formed under his eyes and the fresh new wounds he had on his body. He tried to cover them with concealer, but I can tell the difference.

Somehow I have a bad feeling

"Taehyung! Wait!!" I said as I chased after him when he quickly stormed out of the classroom at lunch break.

No response

I followed after him through the crowded corridor and quicken my pace.

I can't lose him now.

I push my way through an amount of people and reached my hand out to grab Taehyung.

Got him!

"Jungkook?"

I looked up to see Jimin looking at me with a confused look on his face.

"Ah! Jimin hyung! I'm so sorry." I let go of his hand quickly.

"Don't worry." He said smiling.

I observed my surroundings and Taehyung is already gone as if he just vanishes in mid air.

"Damn it!" I mumbled quietly.

"Are you looking for someone?" Jimin asked me.

"Not really...." I said with a hint of sadness in my voice.

Jimin eyed me carefully before grabbing my right hand.

I looked at him with a questioning face and he smiled.

"Well, let's get out of here. It's very crowded." He said while dragging me through the sea of people by my hand.

His grip in my hand tightened as we passed through the corridor.

We stopped in front of the library and he still hold my hands tightly.

"U-um.. Jimin hyung?" I looked at him while blushing a little.

"Oh this?? Sorry!!" He chuckled a little and let go of his hand.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously with a hint of blush in his cheeks.

"Well... see you later, I guess??" Jimin said while he entered the library.

I waved at Jimin and looked around me.

Well this area is very quiet...

I began to walk aimlessly until I ended up in front of a wooden old door. It was unlocked.

Curiosity consumed over me as I began to push the door open as quietly as possible.

It turns out there were a flight of stairs that lead down stairs.

How come I've never been here before?

I walked down the stairs cautiously while using my phone to light the way.

After a few more steps, I found myself entering an old basement. It was very dirty. I think this place was used for storing damaged props from the drama club and other broken things.
