Taehyung's POV

I was in a very needy state to go to the bathroom before Jungkook suddenly grabbed my hand.

I turned around to meet a teared eye Jungkook and felt weak all of a sudden.

'Don't leave me....' Jungkook said while letting out a single tear.

I quickly crouched down and stroked his hair.

"I won't leave you.." I smiled.

"Promise?"

"I promise."

After that he went back to sleep.

I sighed and go to the bathroom after making sure Jungkook is really asleep.

10.00 pm

I can't leave him, can I?

It's 1 hour left before my appointment to steal that stone.

I sat on a chair beside Jungkook's bed while admiring his flawless sleeping face.

"Jungkook.... I should leave..." I muttered quietly while holding his hand with the both of my hands.

I stared at him deeply and I realized how fragile he look.

No! Do your job! You're V the thief!

I was about to leave when I suddenly hear him sleep talking.

"T-taehyung...." he said in his sleep while fidgeting slightly.

"I-i...lo-...m-my .. first... l-love..." he muttered slowly.

What? He loved me?

I feel my chest tightened and my heart pounded quickly.

It must've been a mistake

There's no way he loves me

I made his life into a living hell

"P-please.. stay with me..." he cried a little in his sleep.

Jungkook....

I love you too..

But we can't be together..

I just realized that...

I'm just a burden...

And...

You're better off without me...

I carassed his cheeks lovingly and wiped off the single tear in his eye.
I reflexively sat back at the chair.

I need to leave

But why does my heart refused to do so?

Fuck it

I took out my disposable phone that can't be tracked by it signals (a/n: i know it doesn't exist but fuck it XD) and dialed a number. The phone can also automatically change my voice so it's not recognizable.

"Hello??" The voice in the other line said.

"Hello Mr. Park. I'm V. I just wanted to tell you that I'm no longer interested in your stone. Maybe I'll do it sometime in another day. I'll tell you the details later. See ya~" I said before hanging up.

I let out a big sigh and looked at Jungkook.

Why do I always push my limits for this boy?
