Chapter 12

Taehyung's POV

I am currently lying on my bed and stared up at the ceiling, I tried to sort out my thoughts.

What happened today is...

Rather unexpected...

Firstly, I got very mad when Jungkook is nearly killed by some amateur thief.

I should've felt relief instead... it will lessen my burdens more... I don't have to worry about him spilling my secrets.. also I don't have to protect him from being killed by my family anymore. But no, I actually got mad and vent it on that thief.

Secondly, Jungkook cried.

He fckin cried when he thought I was mad at him. And I actually felt bad about it and apologized!!

I never once felt bad furthermore apologized for every bad deed I commited in the past. But why did this one makes me feel very guilty?

And lastly, he hugged me.

And I freaking hugged him back. I also stroked his hair for God's sake. I don't know what thing took over me there.

But it felt unexpectedly comfortable.. and warm...

After I walked him to his house, I also felt a little bit sense of loneliness...

God...

What is wrong with me...?

I spaced out for a while and still staring up at the ceiling.

I need some fresh air....

I took my phone and checked the time..

It's already 8 pm.

I smiled to myself.

I grabbed my black jacket and beanie. Also a black mask that cover half of my face.

It's time to have some fun~

Author's POV

Jungkook woke up earlier than usual and saw the news while he ate his breakfast.

Breaking news, the mysterious thief V did it again.

Jungkook eyes shot up when he heard the reporter mentioned V. He focused all his attention to the television.

Last night, store xxx got their diamond stolen by none other than V, the infamous thief for these last few months. As usual, he didn't get caught and swiftly doesn't leave any evidence besides his signature note with the letter V on it. This time, the note says: 'thanks for the diamond, I'm gonna use it real well -V-'.

That's it for the breaking news.
I hope all citizens to be more careful.

Jungkook looked away from the TV and sigh. It's kinda hard to believe that he knows who that V guy is. And the fact that he is actually his neighbour, Taehyung.

"Wow, you're up early?" Jin said while scratching up his head and yawn.

"Yeah.. how about you hyung?"

"Can't sleep. I have deadlines due this morning or else Namjoon is going to nag me all day." He said frowning.

"It's your fault for not meeting up your deadlines, hyung." Jungkook said.
