Jungkook just froze. Even though he wanted to move and run to get the hell out of there, he can't.

As the thief is getting closer and closer, Jungkook closed his eyes, preparing for whatever is gonna happen to him.

But he is wrong, when he opened his eyes, the thief is now gone.

Weird

Jungkook was about to get up when he felt he stepped on something hard.

It's a cellphone.

He picked it up and guessed it that it belonged to the thief.

His brain is telling him to hand it over to the police but something inside him told him to just keep it.

Jungkook gone with the second choice and decided to keep it.

I wonder who's the owner of this phone.

~~

The next day, when Jungkook got up from bed and went to breakfast, he saw the news in the TV that some thief broke into a jewelery store.

He swallowed the lump of saliva in his throat as he read that the thief is apparently the same thief that is infamous in the neighborhood this last few months. The thief always left a letter with his trademark whenever he stole something. Something that is shaped like a diamond.

The thief's identity is never discovered and Jungkook knew that he maybe is the only person who ever see the thief up close.

"Why are you looking so worried Kookie??" His eldest brother Jin asked.

"N-nothing, hyung.."

"Don't worry, Kookie.. if that thief ever do anything to you, I will track them down and make sure to get them regret everything" Said Hoseok while cheering his younger brother up.

"T-thanks, Hoseokie hyung" replied Jungkook smiling.

After he finished breakfast, he walked down his house and found Taehyung already waiting for him.

Taehyung waved his hand and showed his rectangular smile at Jungkook.

"Sorry, I can't walk home with you the other day" he said to Jungkook.

"No worries, Tae. But you can at least reply my message." said Jungkook while pouting.

"S-sorry, I accidentally dropped my phone on the toilet yesterday. So it was currently broken." Said Taehyung.

"Oh.. I guess I can't message you for a while then, my inboxes will be very lonely." Jungkook said with a fake sad tone.

"Yahh!! You still have me in real life. I'll make sure to be very chatty with you until I get a new phone, so you won't be lonely." Taehyung said smiling.

"Thanks, Tae..." Jungkook said blushing.

Gosh, why am I blushing like an idiot again???

Jungkook's POV

It's currently lunch time and I'm sprinting my way to the library. I told Taehyung that I needed to do something so we'll not be having lunch together.

I got to the library counter and was met with a boy who is shorter than me.

"H-how can I help you??" The boy stuttered, obviously afraid of me.

The boy had dark brown hair and is wearing thick framed glassed. His name tag showed his name which is Park Jimin.

"Jimin sunbae, I needed some books about electronics." I said to him making him surprised.

"S-sunbae?? You don't have to be that formal. Just call me hyung is enough if you want." He said while chucking, leaving no traces of him being scared a moment ago.

"O-okay J-jimin hyung..." I said stuttering.

"How cute.. you're different than what people say about you, Jeon Jungkook." Jimin said smiling while his eyes turn to crescents.

I blushed at his sudden compliment and he mumbled 'cute' again while seeing my reaction.

"Oh sorry, you needed a book about gadgets?? I've got one right here." He said while handing me a big book.

"Thanks, hyung..." I said while flipping over the pages.

"What are you looking for anyway?? I can help you, because I basically already read everything in this library." Jimin said.

I looked up to him and gladly accepted his offer.

"I forgot my phone's password and I need to do something to reset it without using an email as I forgot my email's password too." I said to Jimin.

He raised an eyebrow and looked at me. "You're a forgetful person, huh?"

"I guess... " I said to him.

"You don't need a book, I know how to do it. Just bring me your phone." Jimin said while smiling.

"Really??? Thanks, hyung!! My phone is out of battery as well.. so you need to charged it too." I said happily and handed the thief's phone to Jimin

"Aishh.. what a kid are you to forgot your password and charge your phone as well." Jimin shakes his head.

I just smiled and let Jimin hyung do his work.

I am happy by the fact Jimin hyung is talking to me normally. Does this count as me making a new friend? Why are good things happening to me lately? It's kind of surreal.

"I'm donee!!" Jimin said breaking my thoughts.

Jimin handed me the phone and eyes me with suspicious looks.

"I know you're lying about this being your phone." Jimin said.

"Excuse me??" I stared up at him.

"Don't lie to me, Jungkook. I won't tell anybody that you stole your crush or best friend's phone to dig up their secrets." Jimin said smirking.

"What do you mean hyung??" I asked completely lost.

"Aishh this kid is still playing dumb with me when he is obviously caught...The phone's owner is clearly said KIM TAEHYUNG not Jeon Jungkook, pabo" Jimin said irritated.

I looked at him shocked and couldn't believe my ears. I then checked the phone and saw the unread messages I send to him yesterday.

What??

Taehyung??

What the actual fck is going on?

Is Taehyung really the thief??

~~
Taehyung's POV

Calm down, Tae...

Try and remember when the last time you saw your phone..

It can't be left at that place right??

No.. it can't be.. I'm not clumsy enough to do that...

Did I drop it somewhere??

What if somebody finds it??

What if he finds it??

Will he turn it to the police?

Will he know everything??

Will he discover my true identity?

Oh, well.. I guess I have to shut him up before he does any of that.

And if he already do those things, I'll make sure he'll regret IT.

If you want to play with me,

You better be prepared, JEON JUNGKOOK

Cause you will be fcking regret it.
