Connor kept visiting Maggie when she was in the hospital, and on October twentieth, at 12:45 PM, he was able to take her home, though she wasn't fully healed yet. He carried her out of the hospital and to his car.
As they got closer to the car, Maggie wanted to be put down. She had thought of a plan to get home but she was unsure if it would work.
"Connor, put me down, I can walk on my own." she said to him.
Connor put her down and Maggie tried running away, but couldn't even walk. She only moved a few steps and almost fell on the ground, Connor catching her before she hit the ground.
"Maggie, you can't walk at all, you need to go home and rest. I won't treat you badly at all when Sophie comes over, I promise." He said to her.
He put her in the front passenger seat and headed home.
Maggie looked out the window as she was being taken back to the house.
When they got there, Connor got out of his seat and came over to Maggie's side of the car and picked her up and took her into the house. He took Maggie to his room to let her rest there.
"Maggie, you can rest in my room for now, but first I need to do something." he says.
He put her on the floor and handcuffed her hands behind her back and tied a piece of cloth over her mouth and lifted her shirt to see her stitched-up side.
Maggie panicked and tried to scream, but couldn't because of the cloth on her mouth.
"Shh, hold still; this won't hurt a bit." Connor said calmly but viciously.
He grabbed one of her stitches and pulled it out of her side.
Maggie screamed into the cloth on her mouth, wanting him to stop.
Connor took the cloth off her mouth and rubbed her side, but it was bleeding a bit and it hurt like hell to her. He uncuffed one of her wrists and cuffed her to his bed, laying her on it to let her rest a while.
"Hush, I was just testing. I'm not going to do that again, I promise." Connor sat on the bed and stroked Maggie's hair calmly.
Maggie looked up at Connor and wasn't sure what to do anymore. She simply gave up and lay there motionless.
Connor heard a knock at the front door. Before he went downstairs, he tied the cloth on her mouth again and he hissed to her, "Hush, don't say a word. I'll be right back."
Maggie just lay still and closed her eyes, wanting her nightmare to end.
Connor opened the front door and saw Sophie. She doesn't look good.
"Sophie, honey, what's wrong? Is the baby coming?" he asked.
Sophie nodded, sweating a bit.
Connor quickly ran up to his room where Maggie was.
"Maggie, I need to get to the hospital, Sophie is going to have her baby soon. If I find out you left of this room, I will find you and pull all your stitches out of your side and let it get infected."
Tears welled up behind her eyes and she kept very still on the bed.
Connor left the room and said to her, "I'll be back sometime to take care of you if you're still in here."
He closed the door and locked it so Maggie couldn't get out.
Maggie lay on the bed miserable and sore; her life was going to change even more, Connor was going to have a baby to take care of and he wouldn't want her anymore. She would mean nothing to him as long as she still lived.
