October seventeenth, 6:45 PM, day six of being kidnapped. Maggie listened to Connor and Sophie talk about their new baby that would be coming within the next or two month, feeling her eyes tear up as they keep talking about it.

Soon enough, Maggie heard very clearly that they were having a girl and she got off the bed and sat on the floor, punching the concrete floor.

At around seven PM, Maggie looked at her knuckles and saw that they were all bloody and beaten up.

She then weakly got back on the bed, more upset than ever before. Connor came down with Sophie, they were holding hands, and Maggie looked away, trying not to cry or show any feelings whatsoever.

"Hey! Girl, look over here before you get a black eye!" Connor said cruelly.

Maggie turned her head to him but her eyes are closed and full of tears.

Hearing their news about the baby had upset her beyond what anything Connor could do to her would.

Sophie gave Maggie a cold stare and looked at Connor again and smiled.

"If you didn't hear this before then I'll say it again. We are having a baby girl and you're going to be nothing of this family once she comes." Connor says cruelly.

Maggie nodded and lay her head back in the corner and cried quietly, just wanting to die now.

Connor walked over to Maggie and pulled her knife out, stabbing her side for ignoring what he said.

Maggie lay on the bed in shock, bleeding badly and crying in agony.

Connor took Sophie upstairs and they said goodbye to each other and kissed for a long time before Sophie left.

Maggie held her side in agony and screamed at the top of her lungs in pain. Okay, she was wrong. This hurt much more than hearing about the baby.

After Sophie left, Connor came downstairs and looked at Maggie with a cold stare but realized that he really hurt her this time. He rushed over to her and tried to help her, but he couldn't do much for her.

"Maggie, I'm sorry but I had to do that, I had no other choice but to do that." Connor said to her.

Maggie didn't say a word, just lay there in pain and losing blood fast. Connor realized that she was losing too much blood and unlocked her handcuffs, picked her up and took her upstairs, taking her outside to his car and laying her in the front seat to take her to the hospital.

"Hang in there, Maggie. I'll get you some help soon, I promise," Connor said to her, rubbing her face to calm her.

Before Maggie made it into the hospital, she had fainted from blood loss. Connor rushed her into the emergency room and let the doctors take her to a room. He sat in the waiting room, waiting to make sure that Maggie was okay.

At 10:34 PM, a doctor came out and talked to Connor about her.

"Is Maggie going to be okay, doctor?" Connor asked.

The doctor said she would be, but was very concerned about her injury.

"She'll be okay, but her injury is very serious, she had to get stitches in her side."

Connor said back to the doctor, "May I go back and see her, doctor, is she awake?" The doctor replied, "She is awake and yes, you may see her."

The doctor took Connor to Maggie's room and he entered. Maggie looked over at him. She was in major pain and she had her hand held to her stitched-up side. The doctor walked over to Maggie and said to her, "Maggie, leave those alone, do you want that to open up again?"

Maggie shook her head and cried into her hands. Connor walked over to her and kissed her head, saying to her, "Hush, its okay. You're safe now, you just got to let that heal up, alright?"

Maggie nodded and hugged him, not letting go. He'd been the one to hurt her, but she needed the comfort he was offering at the moment.

"She must really love you, doesn't she?" The doctor asked.

Connor let her go and turned to him and replied. "Yes I do, she's very special to me and I could love her for every moment past her life."

Maggie closed her eyes, thankful she was still living from Connor's fast actions and caring heart for her.

Connor looked at Maggie's side and felt bad for doing it to her. He went over to her but told the doctor to leave.

"May I have some time alone with Maggie?" Connor asked.

The doctor replied, "Of course."

The doctor exited the room and closed the door behind him.

Connor rested his hand on Maggie's side softly but she cried out in pain.

"Maggie, calm down, don't scream nothing is going to happen. I know your side hurts but I'm trying to help." Connor said, trying to help.

Maggie nodded, knowing he was only trying to help.

"Connor, why do you keep torturing me like this?"

Connor looked at her sadly, not wanting to answer her question. She deserved an answer, though, so he did.

"I don't know, it's just that I'm going to have a baby very soon and Sophie just wants me to keep hurting you. I don't want to keep hurting you, I don't want you to go through all this pain and suffering."

The doctor entered the room again and told Connor, "Connor, visiting hours are over, you will be able to take Maggie home in a couple days. We need to keep her here until she's able to get back on her feet again, okay?"

Connor nodded and kissed Maggie's cheek, giving her a hug goodbye.

As Maggie watched Connor leave her room, she felt a sigh of relief but also a tear of sadness. The person that'd said he would look after her like a daughter had treated her like she was a bad child and always needed horrible punishments. Maggie closed her eyes and rested for the rest of the night. It was the best sleep she'd had since the beginning of this whole thing.
