This is the main character Kelsee Willows, played by Victoria Justice.
Kelsee's POV:
"Lydia I am not going to Brain's party. Its on a school night and I have a huge test I need to study for." Who has a party on a Thursday night? Like seriously could you not wait one more night and have it on Friday night?
Right now Lydia and I are sitting on my king size bed surrounded by nothing but dresses from my closet Lydia dragged out. She is even trying on some for herself to wear. Brian is only the most popular guy in school and caption of the football, and wrestling team. Of course Lydia would want to go.
"Kel, seriously. You study non-stop. You already have all A's. You cant get anything higher than that. Plus your only a junior," Lydia sassily exclaims while pulling off a skin tight purple dress.
Since we are the same size and her parents aren't as wealthy as mine, I let her wear my clothes from time to time. Lydia isn't the type to take hand outs, but we have been best friends for years now so she knows I'm not giving her pity, just being a best friend.
"I know, but if I want to get into the college I want, then I need to keep up my grades. Not waste my time on pointless parties." I start pushing off the dress from my bed so I can start working on my homework. As soon as pull out my text book from my back pack and open it, Lydia comes over shuts it and throws it on the floor.
"Nope, not today sister. We are going to that party, whether you like it or not. Now all we need is to pick out your dress." Lydia then started to restack the pile of dresses on my bed and began to stift through them. "How abouth this one." She holds up a red dress with a silver bedazzled belt.
"That dress looks weird on me."
"Seriously Kelsee. Just put it on and let me see." I then began to strip myelf of my clothing. Lydia and I have had so many sleepovers we don't care if we see eachother like this or not.
As the fabric fell from my hips, I turned and look into my mirror on my closet door. I heard Lydia gasp from behind me. She then screams and runs up behind me. "That's it! That's it! How come I never saw this dress on you before?"
I began to pull the dress down, it was a little too short for my liking. That's why I never wore it. My mother bought at some place in California when she had a modeling shoot there.
"Lydia, this dress it so"
"It makes you look hot! Now help me find a dress for me." Lydia then walked back to the pile of dresses and started looking for a dress that would look good for her. "There is nothing here!"
I laugh at her flustered face, "There are like fifty dresses there."
She huffs, "Yeah and none that would look good on me."
I turned around and walk into my huge walk in closet. While searching I ask Lydia over my shoulder what time the party is.
"Eight, but we are gonna show up fashionably late. It's around 6 now."
After looking through my abundance of clothes, I come out with a red and black dress. It has long lace sleeves that stop at the wrists. I hold it up for Lydia to see. "How about this one?"
Her looks stunned in her shoes. "This dress is beautiful. Where did you get this?"I laugh as she awes over the dress and tries it on. "Yup this is totally the one! We look so hot!"
We both look at ourselves in the mirror and I suddenly get a wash of nausea. Was it nerves? Was I really nervous just to go to a party? Or was it because I knew that Jason would be there?
