Brooke Willows (Kelsee's mother) played by Jennifer Aniston.
Leo's POV:
Kelsee opens the door to a very beautiful woman, if I do say so myself. I shouldn't think that stuff when I have a beautiful girlfriend, but she is pretty, almost looks like Kelsee. Maybe it is her sister? I hear Kelsee say mom.
Woah that's her mother? That is not possible. I mean, Kelsee never really talks about her mom and I have never seen a picture of her mother, but her mother looks too young to be a mother.
Kelsee's voice gets very harsh. "Why are you here?"
Her mother fake laughs. "Oh honey. Aren't you going to let me in?"
"Why should I?"
Why is Kelsee being so mean to her own mother? Her mother seems very nice. Sure little valley girl, but not mean.
"Oh Kelsee, don't be silly. I am your mother." Mrs. Willows pushes past Kelsee and puts her suitcase next to the door. She looks in my direction. "And who is this boy? Come here, I won't bite."
I come out from behind the wall. "Hello Mrs. Willows. I'm Leo."
She rushes to me. "Wow, you sure are handsome. Please call me Brooke."
I hear Kelsee huff. What is her problem? Her mother is so nice.
I blush. "Well thank-"
Kelsee interrupts me, "Brooke, stop flirting with my boyfriend."
Brooke's face lightens up, looking up at me. "Boyfriend?"
I blush and nod.
"Kelsee, how come you never told me?"
Kelsee rolls her eyes. "Well Brooke, it's not like your ever home. Also it's not like I can just call you up whenever I want. I get the voicemail and you never call me back, so I don't call you anymore."
Brooke walks over to put her hand on Kelsee's arm, but Kelsee shugs it off. Brooke laughs. "Honey, I am your mother. Just call me mom."
Kelsee's cheeks turn red. I can literally feel the tension in the room. "No! You are not my mother. I have maybe seen you five times my entire life. When I needed you most, you weren't there. You know who was? Ashton. He was always there, well until he got into drugs, but he only got into drugs because of you and dad. I can't even look at you right now. You were dead to me a long time ago."
Brooke puts her hand over her chest. "Well Kelsee, I'm sorry you think of me like that. I sent you pictures and gifts. Did you not receive them?"
"Is that your way of making up for things? Not even a call? A call would be worth a lot more than a prada bag. But of course you wouldn't know that because all you think about are the materialist things, not the things you give without being paid for."
Kelsee's eyes begin to water. I know she is trying to hard to hold it all in. Then just as Kelsee is about to say something else, Brooke raises her hand and slaps Kelsee's cheek.
Kelsee's mouth opens as she covers her cheek with her hand. Her eyes start to fill full of tears. She pushes past her mother and runs up stairs with her head down.
Brooke turns around to look at me with a fake smile. I lean back on the heels.
A few awkward minutes pass.
"Well, I better go and check on her."
Brooke nods. She walks off somewhere.
