chapter six

avery's pov :
I fell off the couch causing me to groan and wake up. I rubbed my eyes and took in my surroundings. Everyone was in the kitchen having breakfast. Well this is embarrassing. "Uh Morning everyone" I yawn, it couldn't be that late right? "Morning miss Avery" Fiona said kissing my cheek. V came and gave me a hug and so did Debbie. "What time is it?" I asked. "Only 7, so you didn't sleep in long. Everyone woke around a half hour ago" Debbie explained. I nodded my head. "You feeling shitty?" Fi asks. I nod again. "We all have hangover trust me." She giggled. "We partied hard girls" V laughed along with me, Debbie and Fiona. "So how exactly did your little girl 'party' go last night" lip asked eyeing me which I avoided because of the whole dare thing. One thing I love about myself when I get drunk is that I don't forget anything, I've got a good memory. "Good" we all replied in sync. Once everyone finished their breakfast me and debs decided to go ice skating.

We finally arrived at the rink and instantly put our skates on. I've only been ice skating once at a Christmas carnival in California when I was 6. So it's been awhile. "Ready?" Debbie smiled I nodded and we started skating. Little did I know it was possible to fall on my ass so many times and laugh so hard falling over once again. After taking pictures and selfies we decided to go back home. "Hey guys" me and Debbie waved to Fiona and Veronica. "How was your day?" V asked. "Good Avery fell on her ass so many times" Debbie laughed. "Hey!" I pouted crossing my arms. "Debbie and I were thinking how about we have a girly afternoon and paint each others nails and do each other's hair. Wanna join?" They look at each other and reply "We're in!"

After setting things up we got into pairs, so me and Fiona and V and Debbie. V started Debbie's hair, as Fiona started my nails. "So what colour for fingers and what colour for your toes?" Fiona asked, I thought for a second before answering, "Black for fingers and mint green for toes." "Good choice" she smiled starting on my fingers first. 10 minutes later, I looked at Debbie's hair and it was almost done. Veronica did a mermaid braid in her hair and it looked stunning! Next Fiona did my toes. "So girls any boys you wanna tell us about" V winked. "Well there is one guy" Debbie confessed. "Who?" They both eagerly asked. "A guy named Jake Miller." She blushed. "Aw." "Have you kissed him yet?" V asked. "Yeah" she blushed again. "Aw cute!" V smirked. "Get in debs!" I laughed. "What about you Aves?" Fi asked. "Nope. No one" I lied. "Really?" V asked. "Really." I replied. "Maybe soon then" Fiona said and I nodded. I thought to myself for a second, if that was a lie then it meant I was falling for Carl! Fuck. I knew I would fall to easy to quickly. "Thankyou Fi" I smiled as she finished my nails. Then Debbie moved to Fiona and painted her nails White. As for Veronica did a waterfall braid in my hair.

* Monday *

I took one last glance in the bathroom mirror before approving and heading downstairs to face Debbie and Carl. "Ready to go?" Debbie asked. I nodded, "ugh I hate school" I rolled my eyes. "Agreed" the both said in sync. We began walking down the streets of south side until eventually we turned up to school aka hell. We got there just on time as the bell rang for first period. "I'll see you next period in Sport!" Debbie hugged me. I walked off, heading to Art. Seriously. Kill. Me. Now. He's gonna go ape shit on my ass for not showing up to detention. I took a seat and I hadn't even been sat down for one minute before Mr Keshu asked to speak to me. "Yes Sir?" I politely answered. "Your in big trouble young lady. Not showing up to detention? Not a good first impression Miss Moore. Go to detention right now! And for the record you'll be attending ever day after school this week as punishment young lady!" He screamed. "Ugh whatever" I rolled my eyes. "Don't you roll your eyes at me Avery! Go to D5 right now!" I walked away and went to D5.

I knocked on the door quietly before a girl opened the door. I thanked her a took a seat at the back, clearly not looking to left of me. "Hey cupcake" I knew that voice! Ugh of course I should've known, this is probably Carl's second home. "Hi Carl" I rolled my eyes turning to face him. "Your really lucky we have Mrs Turner today, since she's really old she can hardly keep her eyes open." He laughed. Aw he has the cutest laugh ever. No avery snap out of it! "Well I have to come back every day this week after school" I explained wishing I would only see him today. "Me too! So what did you do to get in here badass" he winked. "On my first day I was late to Art class with Mr Keshu and he gave me a detention, I've been ditching it lately and now he went ape shit on me so he gave me today and every day after school this week. Though it was worth it, that's how I met your sister" I smiled. "Really why where you late?" He asked. "Girl problems" I awkwardly replied. "Oh okay" he quickly answered avoiding the topic, making me hold in a laugh at his cuteness. "What did you do mr bad boy?" I smirked. "Swore at a teacher this morning but last week I was in a fight with this chubby kid so I got this week of detention. Every day. After school" he plainly said, clearly not giving a shit. "Wanna go somewhere?" He eagerly asked, I glanced at the teacher who was sleeping and everyone causing complete chaos. I nodded, and he grabbed my hand which was tingling uncontrollably. We sneaked out of D5 and began our little adventure

Soon he lead me to an abandoned building at the edge of the school oval? "Why are we here?" I asked. "It's my thinking place, I come here a lot. It used to be an old locker room but the school couldn't afforded to knock it down, plus it's so old so I graffiti here" he said glancing at the spray painted walls. "Holy shit Carl! Your amazing" he was such a good artist! "Thanks" he smiled. "Avery I'm really sorry about the other day at the pool, I don't want anyone to have you. And I can't help but feel jealous, I really want you. I need you aves" My heart honestly just sunk into my stomach and I was feeling the whole zoo in my stomach. "Aw Carl. I forgive you" I smiled. Before I knew it his lips were on mine and they perfectly moved together, it felt amazing..
