chapter three

♡ Well this is fun ♡

avery's pov :
My phone rang causing me to wake up in fright. "Uh, hello?" I groaned rubbing my eyes. "Aves? I'm so sorry! I didn't realise you were still asleep" a familiar voice spoke. "It's okay debs, it's already 9 anyways. I forgot to set my alarm..clumsy me" I chuckled.
"Are you still up for shopping today?". "Of course! I'll be over at 10?", I asked. "Sounds good" she said. "See you soon" I smiled into the phone hanging up. I guess I'm waging school today. I had a quick 5minute shower, then I straightened my hair. Once I finished my go-to makeup routine I smiled at my reflection and walked to my closet. After what felt like forever, I finally picked out an outfit. My black leggings, loose grey, short sleeved crop top and my black studded leather jacket. I slipped on my low white converse and sprayed some perfume before heading down with my bag. I checked the time which read '9:55' then I ruffled my hair giving it volume before heading over to Debbie's.

"Hey a" Debbie opened the door pulling me into a hug which I accepted. "So I guess we're ditching today" I smirked. "We better go cross that off the bucket list" she winked. I followed her up to her room as she crossed 'skip school'. "Debs where is everyone?" I asked. "Well luckily they left before I had to leave to 'school', Ian's out at work. Lip's at collage. Fiona's at work. Frank's out at the Alibi, Carl's at school obviously and had to drop off Liam at daycare." "Isn't Carl going to find out we ditched?" I asked, "We made a deal that if he kept his mouth shut I wouldn't tell anyone about his constant wanking". I burst into a fit of laughter. "Good one" I spoke and she gave me a 'you know it' look. "Ready to go?" She asked. I nodded. We caught a cab to the nearest shopping centre.

After looking at a few stores we walked into forever 21 and started looking around. Debbie picked out a gorgeous short white dress with a pretty neckline."Try it on" I smiled, which she obeyed and it looked absolutely gorgeous on her, I was so excited for her I was honestly jumping up and down making her giggle. "I love it" she smiled. "Me too, buy it." After Debbie bought her dress we went around looking for a dress for me to buy when we stepped into Brandy Melville. We both searched the store until I almost gave up but Debbie came up behind me squealing. "Try this". It was a strapless, short black dress with sparkles on the top half which was slim fitting then the bottom half which flowed out, it was the ultimate party dress. I tried it on and for once I looked pretty, it made me look slim and I instantly fell in love. I opened the door and Debbie grinned widely. "It's the one". "I like it too" I replied. "Yay, buy it" she excitedly clapped her hands together.

We finished our Taco Bell then went to some more stores to find shoes and accessories. We stepped into a lovely shoe store and Debbie found a pretty pair of white wedges which she loved and bought them. I on the other hand bought black stilettos and loved them too. "Let's go in here" she pointed out a jewellery store. We ended up buying matching plain silver brackets with a simple heart carved in the middle. It was our best friend bracelets then we got matching rings. We walked around a bit more and I pulled Debbie into Victoria Secret. "Uh Avery". "Debbie were both gonna get some guy tonight so let's be typical teenage girls and buy heaps of sexy lingerie" I smiled which she nodded at and we went crazy and almost bought the whole store. Everything looked great on us and luckily we could afford it but we spent all of our money. "At least we spent money on things needed" she shrugged sarcastically. I laughed. "What's the time a?", "3". "Shit we got to get back before everyone else does." She panicked. We quickly hurried out of the shopping centre and caught a cab back to Debbie's. It seemed like we made it back in time because no one was home yet. "We did it" she smiled, I smiled back giving her a high five. "Yass bitch" she laughed at my sassiness and we decided to hide the shopping bags, so we did before heading downstairs to act like we just got back from 'school'. We heard the door open and in came Fiona. "Hey guys" she smiled. We both waved back and pretended to talk about school. "Where is everyone" she asked, Debbie shrugged. "How does spaghetti sound for tonight's dinner?". "Actually Fi were going out tonight" Debbie answered. "Oh where are you's going?". "Just a party" she shrugged. "Okay have fun girls" she said before going back to doing her own thing. Then in came Carl. And as usual he gave me heart pains from his looks. He eyed me up and down and Debbie scoffed and rolled her eyes. Then she gets up gesturing for me to follow her, which I do. Once we're in her room she asked, "what should we do now?". "How about we go to mine and get ready? We have a few hours to get ready since its 4 and the party starts at 7. Though we'll show up fashionably late." "What about the bags how are we supposed to get them to your house?" She asks. I thought for a minute before answering, "I'll pretend to go home and then I'll sneak to your window and you drop the bags then I'll go back to mine and you'll come by shortly after." I smirked which she did also. "Good plan" she nodded. We went down and I said goodbye to Fiona. Carefully I snuck around to Debbie's window throwing a pebble at it to give her a signal. She popped her head out the window and threw the bags down, "see you soon" I whispered and she nodded shutting her window.

"Hey debs" I opened the door, "hey" she replied. I gave Debbie a tour of the house before we headed back to my room to get ready. "Aves where is your parents?" She asked quietly. There was a minute of silence before I sighed, "Their never around, though I'll be right back since that reminds me too call them. They work away" she nodded and I could see she felt bad for me though I felt even worse for her because of her having to grow up with no parent figure. I guess all our parents are all pricks. I stepped out of my room and called my mom, on the 3rd ring she answered with a soft "hello?", "hey mom remember me, your daughter" I spoke through gritted teeth, clearly pissed. "Honey, I'm so sorry, how are you? How was your first day of school? sorry for not calling. We miss you Avery". "No you don't. And I'm fine, it was fine, I made friends if you even give a shit, where the hell are you's?!" I rose my voice. "Don't raise your voice at my young lady, we are working to provide money for you too! And We are in Indiana for work of course. We have many meetings here today and I have to go but we'll be back in a few weeks maybe. Do you have a friend to stay with?" She asked. "I guess and whatever. Bye" I hung up and huffed they make me so mad! How could you leave your daughter home.alone and not call her to see where she was?! they seriously don't give a fuck. Though this wasn't the first time. I let it go , otherwise I would ruin my first party at my new school. I walked back into my room to see Debbie starting her makeup. "Are you okay?" She rushed over to me. "I guess. Their in Indiana for work. And they won't be back until a few weeks, she wants me to stay with a friend, their so selfish" I rolled my eyes. "Wait Avery.. You can stay with us! It'll be so fun" She squealed. "Oh no, debs that's too much!" I sighed, "No it's not! We'll discuss it tonight okay aves" she smiled and I thanked her embracing her into a hug. "Let's get ready". We both did our makeup which we did perfectly, it matched our outfits. Then Debbie straightened her hair, placing it in a 'half up-half down' style. As for me, I curled sections of my hair letting it bounce on my shoulders. Then we got changed into our dresses and slipped on our heels. We both looked at each other and smiled, we looked hot. "We look hot" Debbie laughed reading my mind. "Agreed." This dress made my boobs look huge! Haha score! And I actually loved how I looked. We sprayed perfume and grabbed our phones before heading downstairs. "Uh debs it's 7:30 and we don't have a ride." I panicked. "Don't worry I called someone" she grinned, I nodded slowly before following her outside as we waited on my front porch. Suddenly a car pulls up and we hop inside instantly I recognise the driver. Ian. "Hey Ian" me and Debbie say in sync. "Hey guys, looking good. Where to?". Debbie gives him the address at in about a half hour we arrive near his house. "Thanks Ian" I smile. "It's okay honey, have fun you too!" He drives off and we walk up to the door which was wide open. "Ready?" She whispers into my shoulder. "Ready." I reply excited. We step into the house and instantly the smell of alcohol filled my nostrils and it reeked of weed. The music was so loud you could probably hear it in fucking China! Though I loved parties so I was fine with it. As we continued walking there was couples making out nearly every corner, seems like people here can't keep their dicks in their pants. "Let's grab a drink." I yelled over the music, she nodded and we walked to the kitchen to grab a drink which was a glass of lemon flavoured vodka. Debbie decided to dance which I agreed on and we got out 'slutty' act on and soon a lot of guys were staring at us and grinding behind us. Well this is fun..
