My finger goes to my lip while I think.
"Sure. I'll go." Wait... Did I really just say that? Well damn, I guess my mouth chose for me then.
Kota's eyes light up. I guess he really did want me to go.
"Great!" Victor exclaims. "You better let your parents know so you don't get into trouble though."
I freeze, then unfreeze hoping they didn't notice. I look at them to see if they did and Kota's eyes are slightly narrowed.
I clear my throat, "I can sneak through the back door and go put my bag into my room so I won't get grounded for being away last night." I mentally scoff. What would happen if I were found out would be so much worse. "I can make my presence known and then I can go."
"What about telling someone where you make going?" Kota asks.
"They won't notice that I am gone as long as I am home before five."
They seem to have a conversation with their eyes again while frowning. I sigh, "Look, they won't care that I am gone nor will they even notice."
"Okay," Kota says after staring at me for a minute. "Are you sure you won't get into trouble though?"
I would get into more trouble than you can imagine if I get caught.
"I will be fine. I promise," that I have never seen a purple zebra.
I didn't lie, I just didn't finish my sentence.
"Okay lets go then," Victor finally breaks the silence.
I grab my bag, walk over to Kota's window, open it, and toss the bag out of it. The boys look shocked, guess they didn't expect that.
I turn to face them and say, "Well now we don't have to answer that question." And walk out the door like a boss while humming 'I'm a boss as bitch'.
Talk about epic exit.
I look over my shoulders to see them still shocked for some reason, "Coming?"
They snap out of it and we walk downstairs. Erica sees us and tells me to come visit again soon and I tell her that I will. Then she says something that made me want to pale at. Of course I didn't because they would question it.
"Why don't I go over to your house and visit your mom sometime? It would be nice to meet her."
Think of something! "She doesn't really like to meet new people." Not a lie. Not the truth.
Her face falls, "Oh. Well that's too bad. It would be nice to meet the mother who raised such an amazing girl."
I pull a tight smile, trust me. You wouldn't. "It is too bad."
I look at the boys to see them with faces telling me they don't believe me.
"Are we going?"
"Yeah, lets go. Bye mom, we will be home soon."
She smiles at Kota, "As long as you are home by dinner. Bye boys, and it was nice meeting you Sang."
"It was lovely meeting you too Erica."
The boys say goodbye and we walk out the door.
I just hope I don't get punished before I can go to the mall.
I was half asleep when I wrote the first half of this so... Any weird parts *cough* the exit *cough* blame it on that.
