Chapter 9: Cole's Nightmare; Red Lightening Falls

....Everything froze around Cole. His eyes widen, skin pale, arms and legs shaking like an earthquake, and fear was formed in his eyes. There stood a young girl with red eyes and long white hair. Her mask broke off to reveal her true identity. Cameras zoom in on her face "It seems that T's mask has fell off to be a young girl? Well we are surprised." The crowd was silent...waiting for the fight to continue. "Hehe....oh poor Cole." She slowly walks over to him. Cole jumped and backed away from her. Then she suddenly appeared in front of him, she put a soft hand on his cheek. He didn't make a move, sound, or even breath when she touched him. "It has been awhile." She moves her hand to his chest "My have you grown~." She licks her lips. "..." She sighs "Oh well. I guess I'll have to kill you....like your family." Cole snapped back into reality and yells. He pushed her away with his 'Force' semblance. She went flying, but stopped her self away 6 feet from him. "Seems this battle is getting intense Folks! Not sure what she said to him, but he shaking in his boots right." Cole ran towards the outer ring, but she produce a red lightening out of her hand and shoots it in front of Cole. He was suddenly slammed by the staff part of her weapon. "Fight!" She yelled. Cole looked scared and ran away from her. "Stay away from me!" He yelled. She shoots red lightening at him and he quickly dodges them.

Flare immediately senses something very wrong. "Cole is in trouble!" Flash and Kai felt the same thing. "Kai! Go stop the fight!" Flash ordered as Kai ran towards Professors Oobleck and Port. Ruby looks at Flare "What's wrong?" Yang jumps up "Whoa! Wait"

Thana slams Cole down on the ground. He tried to yell for help and tried to get out of the ring, but no matter he does, she beats him away from help. He gets up slowly and she swings her staff again, but it instantly changes into a chainsaw?! He pulls up his Athena, but it got cut in half. "Athena!" She shoots red lightening at him. He blows away about near the edge of the arena. He groans in pain. "Looks like Cole Fox lost the tournament! The winner is T!!!," The crowd cheers for the win, but she did not move and smiled "....Not yet." She picks him up and places her hand on his cheek. Kisses him slowly and drops her weapon. He was scared shitless. "You still fear me?" She looked at him with seductive eyes. He didn't move a muscle in front of her. The crowd cheering and wooing was ignored by both. ".....You SHOULD be scared." She places her hands against his head and smirks "Today....you will die." His eyes widen as red lightening was shocking his head and body. "AAAAAHHHHHHHHHAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" His blood curling yell in pain made the crowd gasped and looked in shock. She laughs at his pain "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Atlas soldiers aimed their guns as they entered the Arena and shot Thana, but she shoots red lightening at them and destroyed them easily.

Flare, Flash, Kai, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Jaune, Pyhrra, Ren, and Nora looked in fear and anger "COLE!" "What?! Stop the fight! It's over! T you've already won! Enough!". They crowd screamed from the horror in front of them. Yang immediately punched the force field trying to break it. Everyone is, but no progress was made. Oobleck was about to open it until Redrum jumps through the window and slams against both Oobleck and Port into the wall and floor knocking out both of them! Cindy smirks and watches as Thana tortures Cole. Xeo jumps in with Redrum and yells "Ain't nobody leaving! This is our real fight. Come and watch! Ain't no one gonna save you now!"

Qrow looked in shock and immediately ran towards the doors. General Ironwood grabbed his Walkie Talkie "CODE BLACK! CODE BLACK!" Glynda and Ozpin watched in horror "....Thana....." Ozpin finally realized who she is. "I thought that was someone else, but no one has the red lightening other than her! Immediately contact everyone to hurry to the Stadium!"

Emerald and Mercury glared at Thana "No! She r-" Cinder slaps Emerald "No...shes going through with the plan....she's finally cause real terror into everyone....just one more event." She smiles.

Smoke, Roxy, and Issac ran through the city streets in shock. "WE HAVE TO SAVE HIM!" Roxy screams in panic pushing people away. Issac growls "Damn it! Smoke go ahead! Now!" Smoke didn't have to hear his father twice and grabbed his motorcycle. He drove as fast as he could "BROTHER! HOLD ON!"

Cole screams in agony "Aww you want to play more? Okay!" She stops and grabs his neck. She punches his stomach and chest repeatedly until he pukes out blood. "Oooo~" She licks up the blood from Cole's mouth "Mmmm that tasted it good." She throws Cole in the middle of the Arena. He moans in pain as he slowly tries to crawl away looking at his friends, who are tried their hardest to break the force field, and cries "Awwwww you crying like a baby? I thought you were a Hunter? I thought you were so brave, but you're still scared of me." Xeo had move the camera towards them two as everyone outside of the Stadium watching their TVs. "Tell the whole world you can't do anything. You can't be a Hunter. You can't be Brave. Finally tell the whole world that you will live to fight another day. Give up." He cries and kept his mouth shut. "SAY IT!" She yells in his ear. "......I can't.....I can't....be a Hunter........I can't.....i can't be Brave......" He looks at his brothers who wouldn't give up. "......I.....I can't......" She smiles. "It's your fault that your parent's die...It's...all....your....fault!" She laughs like a psychopath. "I.....I....I can't give up." She looked stunned "What?" "I.....said...." he gather up aura "I can't...." Thana noticed this "GIVE UP!!!!!!" He used an Aura Pulse to blow Thana away from him. He gets up and rised his fist up ready for another fight. Thana gets up "Ooo did I pull the parent card? I must've....Here." She throws Cole the Lucky Blade "Found this old weapon. I heard you can win most battle with this blade. Go ahead and we'll fight fairly." Cole used his semblance to pull the Lucky Blade near him. "Oh...and one more thing....This fight was already over." She swiftly charges at him with her Sword/Chainsaw and stabbed him with the Sword end. He gasped in pain.

"COLE!!!" Everyone said in shock to see their friend/brother/student/son get stabbed in the chest. "YOU MONSTER! You said this was a fair fight!" Ruby yells "Aww I didn't mean to stab him...just me and him got unfinished business. That's all. Now that he's dead." She kicks Cole off her blade and shot him with a thunderbolt. She smirks and turns away "Now who's next?" She asked....then suddenly she got punched in the face hard as she went flying into the wall breaking it. Cindy, Redrum, and Xeo looked in shock to see she was blow away in one punch. She gets back up slowly "W-What?!" The smoke clears up to see...Cole with the old, rust Broadsword, called Lucky Blade. "So...." His eyes slowly open to see....Red eyes. "You made me so Lucky."
