Chapter 21: Kai, Flare, and Flash VS Immortality; Close to Death

Flash was wrapping his left arm from the battle against Adam. Flare and Kai showed up near the tower "Pyhrra is probably up ahead of us." Flare said. "So how was your fight....what happened to your arm, Kai?" Flash saw Kai's robot arm. He smiled "Just handling some old 'friends'. You?" "Some Jackass broke one of my Flying Claws...great." He sighed looking at his only reminding Flying Claws. "What about you Flare?" "...............I don't want to talk about it." "Why?" "Nothing happened other than I kicked Redrum's ass." He snapped. Kai could tell he was lying, but he would tease about it later. "So wheres Cole?" "I don't know, but I hope he shows up soon." Then they heard a person yelling near them. They ran towards the sound to see a tall man with no hair, no shirt, red pants, light tanish skin, no shoes, black marks around it's chest, and red eyes. The man had no mouth at all "..." It threw a dead body across the ground. Flare took a closer look and it was Xeo! Flash gasped and growls at the man. "Lets kick his ass!" Kai's yellow eye shine, but he didn't sense any aura within him. "Flash wait?!" Flash charged at it and tried to punch it, but it teleported. Then it kicked Flash in the face. He went flying across the broke battle field. It slowly walked over to Flash with a blade coming out of the fist. It growled and raised it's blade to only be clashed with Flare's Dragon Sword. It growled more and was slashed by Kai's Grimm Ripper (in GreatSword mode). It groan in and Flash shot it in the face blowing off eyes and nose. They all backed away from it to see it healing. "...Oh great it heals." The thing roars through it's skin covered mouth. Then it teleported behind them and slashed them. They grunted "Damn it!" The it's red eyes were glowing. "Ohhhh shit!" It shot a red laser at them. They dodged it quickly "What the hell is this thing?" Flare groans. Kai used Ruby's semblance to stirke it as fast as he could. Flash growls and burst into flames. "FLAME ON!" He punched it as hard as his fist could do. It got burned badly in the face. It roared and stabbed Flash in the stomach. He puked out blood then Flare used his Ice Glyda to freeze their legs. "Flash!" Kai's eyes turned red like Yangs and ran at the creature. His robotic arm clutched into a fist and then BOOM! It went flying through a building.

 

Cole groans in pain as he looks at Thana's lifeless body. He sighed and left his Lucky Blade in Thana. "...I hope you two have fun." He walked away with a broken arm and hurt leg. Then he saw Neo alone..holding Torchwick's hat ".....Hey Neo." She turned around to see a wounded Cole. She didn't have the usual smile. She sighed. "He died?" He guessed and wait for her answer, but she only sighed again. He knew Torchwick was bad guy, but he still had friends. "....Hey take that blade to Cindy if you see her...I know we are in bad terms, but....its just one last time." He began to walk away, but he was stopped by her. She hugged him tightly. "... Thanks Neo... I hope we may meet again in good terms of course." She nodded and lets go of him. He didn't turn back and kept walking away.

Kai groans and Pyhrra's semblance to take a piece of the metal ceiling to hit it, but it kept dodging. Flash kept trying to shoot and clawing it, but it also dodged those moves. Flare use his Fire Glydas to cause an explosion in the building. It teleported out of the building and shoots its red laser at the destroyed building! Flare jumped down as an attempt to cut it, but it uppercut him in mid air and round kicked him into the rumbles. Kai clashed blades with it, but he was the only taking damage. "Damn it!" "FLAME ON!" He punched it, but it headbutted him hard. Then slashes his right shoulder. "ACK!" Then Flare used his Fire with Earth Glydas to turn it's feet into stone. Then Kai cut off it's legs. Then Flash used his only Flying Claw  to grab it and threw it over a larger pile of rumble. "You need to be this tall to fight." Flash smirked, but it got up with new legs. It growled "...Shit." Flash was too tired, but Kai and Flare kept attacking it. Both were unavailable to hit it, but it kept slashing the legs of Flare and Kai. It round kicks Flare in the face and slashed Kai's chest. "...Why is everyone round kicking me?!" Flare gets up breathing heavily. Kai looks up "Retreat!" Flash and Flare ran away from it. Immortal growls and was about to teleport, but Stone was on it's legs. It looked at the kids and starts charging up the red laser from it's eyes. "Hey!" It turned to see Cole with a smirked "You just got dunked on!" He used all of his power and strength to pushed down a tower on top of the Immortal. (End of Song)
