Chapter 20: Cole VS Thana; Revenge or Mercy?

Cole kept running until he saw the tower, that Cinder is in, from afar. Suddenly a Red Lightening hits him from behind and he fell off a pile of rumble. He groans in pain. Then he saw Cindy and Thana looking down on him. "Well well well...If it ain't Cole?" Cindy smirked and use her Aura Pull on him, but use Aura Push on both of them. They flew back. "So you work for Cinder after all...I see. Then I can't let you stand in my way." Cole gripped his Red Gauntlet. Thana glares at him "You....you made me a fool in front the world!" "I gave you a choice to run away and never come back!" Cindy glares him and swings her Ares at him, but he uses his gauntlet to grab it. It turned into a shotgun and shot him in the chest. He goes flying back into a pile of another rumble. He groans and uses an Aura Push while Cindy did the same 'Why does he/she copy my every move?! It's like......' Both had the same thought, but they shrugged it off. Thana swings her new Katana Blade at him, but he quickly dodges it. "Okay Thana want me?!" He looked at a tower that a two mile from them. "Then come get me!" He ran towards the tower. Thana stood there "After him sister! I'll meet you there!" Cindy nodded and ran after Cole.

 

Cole and Cindy were both running at the same speed. Both kept using Aura Pushes at each other, but they kept dodging from their moves. During each stirke sudden flashbacks were shown about their families and one black out sibling having fun...until their murderers came to kill off their family. In Cindy's eyes, Cole is the real murderer. In Cole's eyes, Thana is the real murderer. Then...it made a realization when they both their strongest Aura Pushes when their hands were almost touching. "...." "You will die!" Then BOOM! Both were flying back. Before got up, he was frozen. He realise he was stuck from any movement. He looks at Cindy "WHY?! MOM AND DAD NEVER DID ANYTHING TO YOU?!" Cole was surprised when she was crying. "...They were everything until you beaten Thana and killed our family!" "...I'm not a murderer." She glares "LIAR!" "Then look through my head." "Why? So I can see your sick head?" "Then why did I save people?" "To make yourself look like the good guy!" "..." She has a shiver down her spine "...Then why do we have the same semblance? Some families like Weiss' have the same semblance..." She gripped her Ares "You saying we're the same? No way I'm not a brother of a murderer!" "...Go ahead and kill me, but look through me and see what you see." Cindy growls and slowly reach her hand to touch his forehead. Then........FUSH!!!!! She saw...the real story and truth. Her eyes widen and mouth gapped open to find out...Cole is her real brother and Thana...is her parent's murderer. She lost focus of Cole and her power let him go. He sniffed and hugs Cindy "Cindy......I missed you."

Thana waited at the tower's tenth floor in the long hallway. She sighed "...Cindy?" She stared at Cindy who just walked the stairs. She looked like she was crying. "Sis? You okay? Did you kill Cole?" "....Tell me something....Is Cole....my brother?" It was very quiet. Neither of the sister talked or stared at each other. Thana giggles and her eyes were in a dark red. "Hehe....yeah. I lied." Cindy gripped her Ares. She wish it wasn't true...but it was true. "And mom and dad..." "I'm not your sister and I was the one who killed your parents....you see I took you away from your brother. I never met your family. The reason I killed your family..." She slowly walks over to Cindy. Cindy glares and gets into her battle position which is the same as Cole. "I was so bored, but you know that you can't beat me." (Play complete Red Like Roses) Thana grins and charges at her. Suddenly she was pushed away by someone other than Cindy. "Then how about two against you." Cole appeared behind Cindy with his Lucky Blade ready to be drawn. Thana stared at them. "So...you think the two of you can beat me." "Maybe..." Cole sighed "Or maybe not." "Who knows...you may be surprised!" Suddenly both use Aura Push on Thana and she went flying. "Lets end this!" She shoots her Red Lightening at them, but they dodged. Thana swings her Katana blades at both, but Cindy used her Ares while Cole used his Red Gauntlet. They kept clashing weapons until Cole used an Aura Push. "I got this Sis." He pulls out his Lucky Blade. Red Aura pours out of his back and arms. Thana growls and shoots another Red Lightening, but Cole dodged quickly and kicks her stomach very hard. (part 2 plays) Thana took a dose of purple dust. She and Cole clashed blades, but both weren't cutting each other. Cindy decides to break all the windows "Come on!" Cole smirked with his red eyes. "Thana!" Then Cole slashed Thana's back. She grunts in pain. "Motherf-" He slams his foot on top of her head and then she went through the floors until she stopped at the seventh floor. He sends his Red Aura at her, but she sends her Red Lightening to counter him.

 

Red Flashes filled the dark skies. Issac and Roxy looked up the tower "...Should we help him?" "...He'll be find Issac...Have faith in our son." Roxy smiled as killed another Grimm. Then Osborn killed a Grimm "..." Kuri and Smoke were killing more Grimm. Then a giant robot appeared "Oh come on..." Smoke complained. Merlin sighed "Good luck Cole."

 

Cole and Thana kept clashing weapons "...Getting tired?" He asked. She growls and takes another purple dust dose. "I'LL KILL YOU!" Her rage blind her once again. Then Cindy used her Aura Freeze to freeze in place. "N-No!" Cole was up in the sky where behind him is the Moon. He spins 360 degrees over and over until he was flying towards her. She growls "I'LL SEND YOU ALL TO KINGDOM COME!!!!!!!" She sends a large Red Lightening Bolt bigger than a building. Cole gets hit and was still coming towards him. He was slowing down, but lucky he used all of his aura and his Red Aura to make him go through the Red Lightening. "DIE!!!!! GGRRRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!" Cole growls and felt so much pain. Then he smirks "I. WON'T. GIVE. UP!!!!!!!!!!" Thana was stabbed by Ares! "What?!" She turns to see Cindy stabbing her deeper, but she was shot by a strong Red Lightening. Cindy slams through a wall. She turns to see Cole right in front her. It was so slow for both Cole and Thana as Cole cuts Thana's Robotic Arm and Eyes. "AAAAHHHH!!!!" KABOOM!!!! The tower exploded! It starts to break down as half of it was destoryed. (End the song)

 

Cole groans in pain. "....Worst....idea....ever...." He looks around himself to see half of the building almost gone. His left arm was hurting badly. "Damn...." He gets up to see Cindy also in pain. "...Hey sis." He struggles to walk over to her. She seemed fine thanks to her Aura. He helps her up "You alright?" She nods and suddenly pushes Cole out of the way. Cindy was stabbed in the shoulder and fell out of the building. "Cindy!!!! No!!!" He looks down to see nothing, but fire, rumble, darkness, and rain. He was grabbed by the throat and thrown through the tenth floor into a roof. He groans in more pain and was ready to pull out his Lucky Blade to see it was gone! "Looking for this?" He turns to see Thana with no right arm and right eye. She throws the sword away from them. "...You!" He gets up, but he was shot in the chest. Thana aimed at Dust Gun at him. He groans in pain. "I can't believe you gave me mercy. How dumb are you?!" She shoots him in the right knee. "AAH!" He yells in pain. "I....I gave you a choice." She slowly walks over to him and shoots him in the left knee. "And I choose to stay and kill you!" She shot him the left shoulder. He yells in more pain. "Why give me mercy?" "....Because.....Because I'm not....I'm not a murderer like you. I'm a Hunter...and I say I will give you another chance. Just leave and never return." He warned her, but she laughs "You..ahhahahahaha! You gave me a warning? Who has the gun?" "Shoot me and you die, but drop the gun...I'll let you live." She smirks and aims the gun at him. "...3...2....1" She pulls the trigger, but it was a click. "Huh?" "....I didn't want to do this, but....I have to..for Cindy...my brothers.....and for my parents." He grabbed Thana into a hugged. "Huh?! What?! What are you?" He gather his aura and extend his arm. She was confused until she shock him with a full power of Red Lightening. He goes flying off the building. She grins then a stabbed sound was heard behind her. She saw the Lucky Blade going through her chest...her heart was stabbed. She grabbed the blade and saw her boss with a smirk as if she didn't need her. "....N-No....I can't be dead......I....I.....I don't want to die." She fell off the building with the blade right through her. Her last thoughts was what her boss said to her.

"You're orders were to leave...if you ignore my orders, then you will die." "....Not until I kill Cole." "Then Revenge will stab you in the back."

"..." She slammed on the rumble with the blade deeper inside of her. Rain continue to fall....no thunder was heard that night....
