Chapter 22: Cole's Fall; Flare's Dragon Power

Cole smiled with his wounds from his fight against Thana. "Hey guys! I figure you could use my leadership." He yells over as he climbs down from the rumble around them. Flare, Flash, and Kai were relief it was over. "Whoa you guys took a Hell of a beating....Also Kai has a robot arm." He pointed out. "I'll explain later. Now come over here and lets help Pyhrra." Flare said holding out his arm for Cole. They laughed. It was over.......it is over for Cole. Suddenly a loud stabbed sound was heard behind Cole. (Play Dead Island Trailer Music) Everyone froze in fear and took them only a full minute to realize.....to realize.....Cole was stabbed in the stomach and the lung. ".......Oh.....Oh wow.....I....I guess I....I have to go......Heh. It gonna end like this.....I love you guys.....thanks for having my back......" Another sword went through his heart. "I....Love.....You...." He was crying, but smiling as if he knew this was gonna happen. He closed his eyes and made no sound.....Cole Fox, leader and brother of Team CKFF, has died. His whole team looked in utterly shocked and a wave of sadness hit them hard. They all had tears. Flare kneed down on the ground. Flash and Kai stood there. Then the body of Cole was thrown into the rumble with no soul....no life in sight. (End of song) It was the Creature! The creature they called Immortal. Immortal never made an expression, but he just looks his blades that came out of his hands and glares at them.

Sadness was replaced by anger for Flash. "YOU.....YOU......YOU MONSTER!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" His whole body burst into flames out of anger! He roars like the Wild Wolf he is and charges at Immortal with no thought. Kai saw this "Flash no!" Immortal swings it's blades at Flash as Flash was the speed of sound leaving a trail of his burning hatred of it...but....it slashed deep in Flash's aura core and chest to the point he lost his semblance. He lost his flames... A huge cut was visible as blood pour out of Flash's chest. He falls down into the rumble....and stayed on down. It tried to stab him, but Kai clashed his Grimm Ripper against it's blade. "No you don't!" Both kept clashing each other's weapons until Kai jumps away. "Come at me!" Kai yells as a blade pops out from his robotic arm. Immortal's red eyes glow "...Jimmy Crickets..." It shot a red laser out of it's eyes and Kai slams his Grimm Ripper in Greatsword form to use as cover....but it was breaking the sword slowly. "...Oh no!" Suddenly the red beam hits Kai as his weapon burns up "AAAHAHAHAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! FLARE!!! FLARE!" "KAI! FLASH! NOOOOOO!!!" Flare yelled helplessly to see Kai's human arm, hair, and legs burning into ashes and his chest and face were having third degree burns. He hold out his robotic arm for help....but no one came. He was blast away from everyone and rumble falls on top of the burned up Kai. Immortal started to form a skin covered mouth and roars (Predator Roar). Flare looks at his fallen friends and flashbacks from each of his teammates...

Flash backs

"Surprise!!!! Happy CKFF Day!" Cole yells pulling out Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. Flare looked surprised "What's Happy CKFF Day?" "It's a day we made up goofy! For our team going to the semi finals. Also an accused for Flash to get a 'break' from Yang." Kai joked. Everyone laughed except Flash "Oh shut up! Seriously she's killing me with threatening." "At least you have a girl. Anyways I think today we should tell about each other. First let's speak of Flare." Flare's eyes widen "M-Me? I'm just a fighter." "Strongest one we have. You beaten Torchwick and gave up for Revenge. You were Grimm and being an ass...but soon you became one of us." Cole said patting Flare's back. "First Flash." "..Flare you are my partner and brother. You never gave up even if you got beaten down. I was like you until I met you guys. I'm glad you're my partner and I met you." Flash looks away from crying. "Kai?" "Dude you beaten Torchwick, know Dust very well, and you're my brother. At first I was sent to take care of you, but you shown improvement. You're the best friend anyone...or Faunas." "Yo!" "could have." Kai smiled "Cole?" "...Flare. You never gave up on being a fighter. To be honest, I thought you were going Rouge because of your Grimm tone for Revenge, but you let it go and spared Torchwick. I respect you as a fighter, friend, and....and brother. No matter what we'll be together until retirement." Cole chuckles. Flare looks at his team....and hoped the promise will live up for him. He knows it will....

End of Flashback,

Flare picks up the Dead Cole ".....Cole.........That promise died...." Immortal was behind him and swings it's blades, but it clashed with his Dragon Sword. He picked up his shield "....You're no human, Faunas, or Grimm I ever met.....but I do know one thing..." He turns around to see his eyes changed into Dragon Eyes "You just awoken the Dragon inside of me....AAAHAHAHAHHAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" The ground breaks under Flare as the shield and Dragon Sword changed immediately into his hands. The paintings on the sword started to glow and move on its own! His wounds heal and an explosion was made as Immortal went flying towards one of the towers. It teleports up there and growls. "What's the matter?" Flare was up the tower already, but something was different. His eyes were covered in flames, he worn dark red armor, gauntlets, boots, and helmet made of real scales, his shield with the dragon on it, had wings made from fire, and his Dragon Sword with flames and dust around it...the magic is back to life. "Ready for Round 2?" (Play "Hero" by Flow) Immediately Flare and Immortal clashed blades against each other. Flare flew into Immortal as it teleported behind him, but he used his shield to defend him. They were gone in a blink of an eye, even though Flare's body couldn't take this much power, and kept clashing blades. "Come on! You can't even keep up with me!!!!!" His anger is his power from this point on. "This is for Flash!" He cuts off it's right arm "This is for Kai!" Cuts off the other arm. "THIS IS FOR COLE!" Slashes it's eyes. Then he used Ice, Lightening, Water, Earth, Wind, Fire, and the sword's magic to slash every part of it's body then kicks off the Immortal from the tower. It soon slams down on the ground. Flare flies down on the ground and lands perfectly. Then the wings disappeared and Flare puked out blood from using all of that power. "Stupid...stupid sword." He groans in pain as he realises that the longer hes in this form, the more his body is badly damaged. He was forced to reverted from his Dragon Form, but the magic from the Dragon Sword is still alive. He looks up to see Immortal back to life "Oh that's right. I didn't forget the regrowing limbs." It grew it's arms and heal up its body. "The battle is over already....just leave me alone or you'll die." It's eyes started to glow red. Then shoots the red beam once more as Flare use his shield to hold out the beam. He was burning up and struggling, but he counted. "3....2.....1." It's eyes were bursted into flames. The beam was gone and this gave Flare a fighting chance "IM ENDING THIS NOW!!!! RRRRAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" He runs over and cuts off the Immortal's head. Then slammed his fist with Fire Dust and obliterated it into ashes. The body was trying to grow it's head, but then Cindy used her semblance to lift the body and crush it into a ball from her anger and sadness. Redrum slams his Sweet Darling and made it crush into tiny pieces...when the body stop moving completely. (End the song) ".....It's over.....Where's Cole?" Flare looks at Cindy and Redrum "Why should I tell you manics?!" "Because.....he's my brother......"

Redrum found the dead body of Cole and picks him up "Cindy....I'm sorry....." She didn't feel anything, but sadness in her soul. She hugs Cole's body "Big brother.......big brother..... please wake up....." Cindy had a trail of tears coming down from her eyes. The eyes that once shared with her brother. ".....I wished this never happened." Redrum said hugging Cindy. Flare looked at them and went to go looking for Flash and Kai....Flash was no where to be seen. He found Kai, but he didn't know if he was still alive or dead.....Flare gets up ".......If you find Flash, tell him don't go looking for me... i gotta kill my m-" Suddenly a white flash covered the whole battlefield "...No....It can't be....Silver Eyes........Ruby?"
