Chapter 15: Battle On Beacon

Kai kneed down...He was tearing up to see his family member....died in front of him. Pyhrra couldn't believe what she had done. There was silence. "...P-Penny..." Ruby was tearing up badly. Kai knew Penny never made any enemies. She had done nothing with anyone. He cried and cried. He knew that crying wasn't gonna bring her back. Then he looks up the screen to hear someone talking on the screen. "This is not a tragedy. This was not an accident. This is what happens when you hand over your trust, your safety, your children, to men who claim to be our guardians, but are in reality nothing more than men. Our academies' headmasters wield more power than most armies, and one was audacious enough to control both. They cling to this power in the name of peace, and yet, what do we have here? One nation's attempt at a synthetic army mercilessly torn apart by another's star pupil. What need would Atlas have for a soldier disguised as an innocent little girl? I don't think the Grimm can tell the difference. And what, I ask you, is Ozpin teaching his students? First, a dismemberment, now this? Huntsmen and Huntresses should carry themselves with honor and mercy, yet I have witnessed neither. Perhaps Ozpin felt as though defeating Atlas in the tournament would help people forget his colossal failure to protect Vale when the Grimm invaded its streets. Or perhaps this was his message to the tyrannical dictator that has occupied an unsuspecting kingdom with armed forces. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue as to who is right and who is wrong, but I know that the existence of peace is fragile, and the leaders of our kingdoms conduct their business with iron gloves. As someone who hails from Mistral, I can assure you the situation there is equally undesirable. Our kingdoms are at the brink of war, yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark. So, I ask you, when the first shots are fired, who do you think you can trust?"

Suddenly the arena was filled with the screams of people and faunas trying to leave except the Hunters. Cinder got her message send across the world. Flare heard it and felt very angry. "I won't let you live!" Flare shoots out a Fire and Ice Daggers at her, but she flips in the air. She lands back trying slash him, but Flare either clashes her blades or dodges them. He then kicks her into a wall. Cinder grunts and round kicks him. He falls over and slashed her cheek making her bleed. She licks her own blood and makes an bow and three arrows. She shoots them, but Flare uses his Dragon Shield to defend himself and uses Earth Glydas to turn her legs into stone. She smirks and kicks off the stone. He growls and swings his sword at her.

Flash was punching every mirror until he saw Xeo moving into another mirror. He was losing his strength fast with every punch. He pulls out his Flying Claws and swings the weapon to slash or shoot every mirror until the real Xeo was grabbed by the weapon and went flying out of the mirror room. He was slammed against the ground. Flash walked over to Xeo when he saw the Message. He looks back to see Xeo gone. He growls and decides to call the others when an Ursa attacked him from behind!

Cole stared at the screen with a shock look. "Seems our plan worked...now...Ready to die?" "This sounds familiar...Oh wait the train. By the way, you're gonna pay for this." Adam smirks. He looks down to see his feet turned into stones. Merlin kicked two White Fang members while Cole Aura Push the others into the wall. Adam broke free and pulled out his red blade. "Get down!" He gathers up his aura and uses an Aura Pulse to blow the windows off causing the air to suck out Adam and the rest of the White Fang members. Cole grabbed a table "Merlin! Call the others! Damn it!" Then he sees Adam struggling to hold onto the broken window. "....I love you Merlin!" Cole lets go to kick Adam and both of them flew out of the airship. Adam grabs Cole as both are flying through the air. Cole used an Aura Push to push him away. Then both of them landed on a Nevermore. Cole grabbed on a feather. Adam stabbed the Nevermore in the head. "Damn your crazy!" They crashed landed through the Emerald Forest.

Kai sees a Nevermore trying to break through the barrier above them. "..." He looks at Pyhrra who is oblivious of her surroundings. Ruby rushes into the Arena. He pulls out his Grimm Ripper into a Scythe. "...Lets go." His yellow eye glows brighter as the barrier began to break. "P-Pyhrra! Get out of here!" Ruby tried to move her, but she didn't response. The Nevermore breaks through!

Cole groans in pain from the crash landing. "...Damn it." He saw all types of Grimm charging forward Beacon. He knew he was too far away to run, but he had no choice. "Well I guess Nora's Lessons might have come in handy." Then he sees Adam on a tree branch jumping across the trees. "No! Get back here!" Cole runs after him trying to ignore the pain. "Oh no you don't!" Cole uses an Aura Push to break off the branches, but he was too fast. "Damn it Adam!"

(Play Seizure of Power by Marilyn Manson) Flare and Cinder stared at each other...then they clashed their blades against each other. Cinder tried to hit him with her Fire Dust while Flare tried to hit her with his Dragon Sword. They were dodging and clashing at each other. Cinder was stronger than Flare, but he put more defense than offense. "You will die where you'll stand, Mother!" "Aw Flare misses Mommy." She smirks at him. She punches him in the chest and kicks his Dragon Shield away. He swings his sword at her, but she grabs it. "My the Dragon Sword? I'm impressed, but you could make Mommy happy if could join us....sadly you declined." She pulled the sword away from him with ease. He didn't know how she could hold it. "...Where did you get your power?" "...Just something Mommy made." She threw the sword. Flare tries to punch her, but she grabs his left fist. "Sons shouldn't hit Mommy. She gets very" She cracks his knuckles "upset." "AAAAHHHHH!!!" Flare was in so much pain. She breaks his whole left arm. (End of song) "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" Cinder smiled and grabs his neck. Flare was struggling to breath. "I wish you'll live through this, but you know...you are a grown boy." She chokes him tightly. Flare was losing air fast.

The Nevermore crashed down into the Arena with Penny's Dead Body crushed by its claws. Kai was enrage with anger. He knew it wasn't Pyhrra who killed Penny, but someone with the same aura from that day. "...." He saw Ruby picked up one of Penny's Swords and charges at the Nevermore that was trying to eat them, but Kai already slashed it's mouth. "Ruby take Pyhrra out of here." Then suddenly lockers came crashing down onto the Nevermore. It was Jaune, Nora, Ren, Coco, Yatashi, Fox, Velent, Sun, Neptune, Sage, Scarlet, Smoke, Kuri, and Osborn. "Kai go find my brother and your other teammates. We got this." Ruby said with a smile. "...Good luck Ruby and Pyhrra...I know you really didn't mean to kill Penny...Make sure you beat Cinder Fall." Kai leaves in a flash hoping he'll find the others. Then he runs into Cinder choking Flare. He knew he didn't have time to get Ruby and the others! So he uses Pyhrra's semblance and move the Dragon Shield. Cinder turns to see him shoot the shield at her, but she grabs the shield. Flare growls and creates a Fire Dagger made from her dust. He stabs her neck. She gasped and throws Flare towards Kai. "ACK! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS FLARE FALL!" She has a wound on her neck. Then she disappears into the darkness. Kai helps Flare up "Fuck! Flare stay with me!" Flare gasped from the pain and saw Kai helping him up. "K-Kai...My mother....Sh-" "I knew it...Cinder planned this." His scroll was ringing. He picks up. "Kai...Theres Grimm everywhere. Where are you?" Flash asked tiredly. "I have Flare, but his left arm is broken. We are leaving the Arena now." Flare try to grab his Dragon Sword with his broken arm. Suddenly he yells in pain as his bones were reattaching each other. Kai looks at his broken arm as it was healing itself. He has never seen Aura done that before. Aura can heal your stamina and minor injures, but never heard of broken bones being healed like that. Flare was breathing heavily and gets up as if his broken arm didn't exist. "I'm healed...Lets go find Flash and Cole." Kai nods, but he still wonders...'How did Flare heal his broken bones? Is the Dragon Sword really magical?'

 

Cinder looks at the chaos from a roof of a building. She smiled and turns towards Emerald and Mercury who were scared by her reaction by the chaos. "...Let the fun begin." Her neck was healing as she pulled her scroll. She calls someone on her scroll "Send out Protype 54: Immortal." She ends the call.
