I'm picking up the pieces of my shattered heart

The one that you broke like a perfected art

No remorse, you continued to dance with her

Here I am, a useless dummy, an empty container

What is there that you left, If you took it all?

Our years of love, you ended in one call

Did you ever love me for just a moment?

How could you be fine, while I, an inner torment

Now look at my heart, you bastard!

I'm picking up the pieces, carefully, not to bleed myself again.

A/N:

So... I had a friend who just broke up with her boyfriend because he was cheating on her.. their 8 years of love, lost :( How could him!!

This poem is from my friend's perspective, maybe in an exaggerated way but I think her reaction is much more painful :(
