~Chapter 16~

"I think that's everything." Joe says as he zips up his suitcase

"Let's just hope we haven't forgot anything." I say back, picking up my suitcase.

We both grab our suitcases and put them near the door, I check around to see if everything is locked, because Georgia was staying at Marcus' for the week, while I'm doing that Joe is calling a taxi.
We place our suitcases in the boot of the car and get in. The airport wasn't far from my flat, so it only took us about 20 minutes to get there. We get back out of the taxi and wheel our suitcases into the airport, we check in, our flight was in a hour and a half so we decided to go and get some food.

The closest place to our gate was nandos, so we went there. We got seated and had already ordered.
"I remember our first date here." Joe said smiling. I gave him a really confused look.
"You don't remember?" He said pouting.
"Or course I remember." I say back laughing at him. His cheeks were getting pinker, and I just sat there an laughed. He kicked my from under the table, a soft kick
"Ow." I say pulling a sad face and pretending to cry.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen omg" I look up and start laughing at Joe. He can not take jokes which I like about him.

We are now about to board our plane, we had window seats. I was sat next to the window as I don't need the toilet as much as Joe does when he's on the plane. "Welcome aboard ladies and gentlemen, we are now setting off to New York, so please buckle up your seat belts and turn your phone on aeroplane mode, thank you." Me and Joe both do as the flight attendant says as she goes through safety. We had now set off.

As soon as I knew I was drifting off to sleep, just to be woken 6 hours later by Joe saying we're about to land.
