~Chapter 18~

Me and Joe had been in New York for just over 1 week now, but today is our last day.

We both got up and and got ready, I put on a white skirt, a grey crop top and a flower crown. I loosely curled the ends on my hair and left it down. Then out some white high top converse on.

"Ready." Joe asks
"Ready." I reply. As i grab Joes hand and walk out of the hotel door.

We're walking around Central Park talking a lot about when we were young and childhood memories when Ell calls, I wonder why? I answer

"Hello." I say
"Omg lauren I've been trying to get hold of you for ages now!" Ell says with panic in her voice.
"Why what's happened?" I ask really confused.
"Well..."
"Well what?"
"Well your house got broken into, they haven't stole anything but the tv is all smashed. There's smashed plates everywhere. It looks like they have tried to get into your bedrooms but they didn't get in."
"Omg, I'm going to kill Georgia (not literally) anyway I have to go but I come home tomorrow, can you stay at the house, stay with Katie or Caspar." I say.
"Yeah, that's fine see you tomorrow."
"Goodbye." I end the call.

"What was that all about, is everything ok." Joe asked looking quite worried.
I tell him about what had happened, he looked my worried than i did. I gave him a hug and told him that everything was ok.

"Let me take you out for dinner." Joe says. We are both sat on the bed, Joe editing a collab and I'm watching Netflix, I'm obsessed with American horror story at the minute.
"Sure why not, where you thinking."
"I don't know maybe McDonald's, chipotle, in and out burger." Joe says sarcastically.
"Really??" I say as I pretend to be serious.
"No I'll look online to see if there's any nice places."
"That's a good idea." I say as I lean my head on Joes shoulder and give him a side hug (is that a thing?)

I got up and changed into a dress, it looked like the one I wore for my dads funeral, but a bit different. Joe was dressed quite formal. He had skinny jeans on with a white suit Tshirt.
"You look beautiful." Joe says admiring my body.
"Thank you." I say, Joe looks sad at me, I think he was waiting for a compliment back.
"You look...." I say looking at him up and down. And pulling a disgusted face. He looks at me sad at turns away
"You look handsome." I say walking over to him. I open my arms and give Joe a hug. He picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. Our lips were now together.

we decided to go to a restaurant called Daniel. It was so pretty inside and the food was immaculate. It was properly one of the best meals I've had in New York. I would love to go back to New York again, but coming here with how made my experience 10 times better.

We came back to the hotel from our meal and I jump backwards into the bed and Joe comes on lays next to me.
"This is one of the best holidays I've ever had." I say moving my face to look at Joe, he does the same
"It was the best especially because I spent it with you."
I sat up against the head board, grabbed my pjs and put them on. Joe came and sat next to me, we sat and hugged for ages until I was about to drift off to sleep when Joe said these words
"I love you." My heart started melting, it just made this holiday a 100 times better. I started to cry and I didn't know why, they were years of happiness.
"I- I love you too." I stuttered because I couldn't stop crying and smiling. With that I fell asleep on Joe.
