(Cancers POV; )
Everyone kept eating, but they ate in silence. Virgo clicked off her phone, and shoved it in her pocket and started to eat. I sat and began to listen, since I had eaten everything.

(Virgo POV)"We have very special news for you all in this cafeteria today! On Monday, of next week, we will be taking everyone on a field trip to stay in cabins, from Monday morning to Thursday Afternoon !" He said a little too excitingly. All around people had mixed emotions. Some people sighed and groaned in annoyance, which was more than 2/3 of the cafeteria, (I was with them on that) and others perked up in their seats and their faces brighten. Aka, Cancer. Cancer is all about nature. She loves it. She's been camping number of times, and even tried to drag me with her a few times. Her family owns a cabin in the woods in Pennsylvania, and they go their almost every summer. Multiple times.
I sighed out loud and bit a piece off my grilled cheese. I hate school field trips-with a passion. The only up part to it, is that we get to get out of school. To be honest, I'd rather be doing that than be outside in the hot, humid air. Yeah, yeah... You get to go outside and get fresh air, but it isn't appealing to me as much as staying home and reading my fan-fiction. Along with my ships. Oh Bibber... Why can't we have our phones in school all the time?
"But, although it will be a fun trip, we are not allowing electronics what so ever," he finished, smirking wryly. A lot of people gasped in protest and started ignoring him and began talking again.
I crossed my arms and turned back around. Cancer seemed be focusing on something. I could see lust in her eyes. I tried to follow her sight but I couldn't find who she was looking at. "Yoo-hoo!" I waved my hands in front of Cancer. She seemed dazed. I snapped in annoyance and she blinked a few times and looked at me confused and...upset?
"What?" She asked as she looked at me up and down. "Why are you crossing your arms?" Sometime I really question her lack of realization.
I looked at her like it was obviously and put my hands out in front of me. "Duh, wasn't it obvious? Didn't you just hear what Mr, Stray said?" I said like it was obvious.
She gasped out loud and nodded. "Oh, yeah! Sorry," she said a little embarrassed as her face got red a little. I shook my head. Her face morphed to realization and she crossed her arms. "Really, Virgo? It's just three days! You've stayed at my cabin for almost a week before!"
I rolled my eyes and put my arms on the table. "That's because you forced me to go, Cancer, and it's four days technically..." I replied. I could sense Cancer was starting to feel uncomfortable. She doesn't like to argue sometimes. I tried to relax a little and added, "it's fine Cancer..." She nodded approvingly and turned her attention back towards the front of the cafeteria. "Doesn't mean I will enjoy it," I whispered lowly. Cancer hesitated, but then did the unpredictable- she punched me in my arm.
I gasped. "Cancer! That hurt!" I pouted sarcastically as I rubbed my "imaginary" bruise. I surely wasn't excepting her to punch me. I guess I pushed her a little far.
She rolled her eyes and mumbled something under her breathe. I felt a little sorry because I could tell that she felt guilty for punching me. I hoped she knew that I was being sarcastic. Sometimes being friends with Cancer was rocky, since she's slightly more sensitive than others. "Cancer,-" I started but then Mr. Stray began to talk again in the PA system, silencing me. Cancer would probably be stubborn anyway and ignore me.
Great timing...You had to start talking again, really? I hated people's timing sometimes.
For the most part everyone stopped talking, but a few kept talking but they lowered their voices. "We will be giving more information with the papers your next period teachers should be passing out. We will also be sending different communities of students to different camps. There will be a total of 6 different camps. Please if you have any questions, make sure you ask the teachers any questions or concerns you have," he stated perkily. Everyone nodded and just returned back to their talking. I just shook my head and picked up my tray.
"I'm taking my tray up," I mumbled lowly as I stood up and carried my tray. The trash can was by the white pole, just a few feet away. I banged my tray on the inside of the big circular barrel and turned on my heels to return to my table.
I slide the tray across the table and let it continue sliding a few inches until I grabbed it and pulled it back to my spot. All I really wanted was to read my Gravity Falls fan-fiction... I was controlled my temptation to grab my phone, but I stopped mid process. I mentally yelled at myself. I noticed Cancer giving me the crazy look, but she just smiled innocently at me as if she wasn't questioning me at all.
I shook my head and laughed lightly. "Cancer, I can see you judging me. In my defense, reading is good for you right?" I tried persuading her. I was right, right?"Virgo, Virgo, Virgo.... How have I put up with you for the past few years?" She wondered out loud and cracked that pretty smile of hers. When Cancer smiles, you were most likely going to be able to see her white teeth peak through. I swear she has to brush her teeth more than two times a day to keep them as white as they are.
"I wonder the same thing..." I joked along and laughed. "But you know that you enjoy being my friend!" I teased at her as I pointed my finger at her.
She stuck her tongue out at me. "Hmm... I never said that," she said with a grin.
I began to pout. "Oh my god, we are such childish teenagers...." I said as I burst out laughing. Cancer joined in with me. I began to remember the best memories we've had in the past few years of being best friends. I remember when we had went to the local beach one year for four by if July, and they had fireworks that lasted forever. At the time, Cancer was dating a boy named Ian. He also went, which made it a little better. His humor was great, and he made Cancer happy at the time. But the didn't last long... When Cancer found out he secretly cheated on her. I rolled my eyes thinking of that. It had taken me about two weeks just to get her to stop crying over him. I started to cancel that memory out.
I remembered another memory where my family and us went on a road trip, and the whole time we were in the back seat screaming many different songs. When we had Hello playing, we had all the windows rolled down, and got some dirty looks from people. We just laughed it off and sang even louder. My parents hadn't really minded, and even joined in on some parts. We were "really wild" teenagers sometimes.
The bell rang and everyone hurriedly scrambled out of their seats and dumped their trays in the trash cans and put then on the steel rack as we exited the classroom. I followed uniform and Cancer did the same, and we were off to our next period.
