Zack
I felt like crap and was so bloated from shoving food down my throat even though I’m not hungry but seeing Lucy smile was totally worth it. After the two of us packed our bags and Alex and Rian brought them downstairs and put them in the car. Lucy managed to cram everything into a large bag and her two backpacks. One she called her bathroom bag and the other was her OMFG I can’t lose this bag. “Jeez Lucy you’re not gonna have enough stuff”
“Jack Barakat I’m a mother I know how to pack a lot into a little. Don’t open any of my bags without me there because it’s like the Mary Poppins bag” Jack lifted my two backpacks.
“Lucy how are these so heavy? It’s not possible!” Everyone laughed at Jack.
“Ok everyone out of my bedroom this is the one room you guys aren’t allowed sorry!” I laughed at Lucy. “Don’t be laughing you remember when Alex tackled us while I was pregnant. Never happening again” She was mistaken if she thought the guys weren’t gonna play pranks on her during this tour.
“Hey can we sleep in our own bed tonight before we don’t have the chance for 2 months?” I look at her “What?! It’s not that I don’t like your childhood bed but I wanna be able to sleep without you on top of me.”
“OHHHHHH!”
“Guys shut up! And get out of my house! I’ll see you guys tomorrow… but until then OUT!!” Lucille yelled while chasing the guys from the room and down the stairs. I heard the front door shut. Lucille didn’t come upstairs. “AH hell!” Lucille said followed by a bump.
“Lucy? You ok?”
“I’m fine love. Just give me a minute”
“Lucille”
“Zack I’m fine!” She snapped. I walked towards the doorway and she appears squinting and her hands in front of her.
“So that’s why you wanted the guys to leave so fast”
“I could feel it coming and I didn’t want the guys to see it happen”
“Well maybe if you wore the ugly orange glasses Kathy told you to wear during the day in the sun you wouldn’t have such a drastic change”
“But they’re so ugly”
“Lucy you’re the most stubborn person I’ve ever met”
“Have you met your children? Have you ever tried to get Sunday to do something she doesn’t want to?”
“But they got that from you”
“O my love have you not realized you’re just as stubborn”
“We’re gonna have some serious problems with our children when they grow up”
“I miss the kids”
“Me too” We feel asleep with Lucy wrapped in my arms. Around 6 the next morning Lucy and I were fast asleep. That never lasts long between the guys and the kids.
Jack
Matt made the mistake of asking me and Rian to go pick up Zack and Lucy. I grabbed Alex and brought him with too. When we went to get out of the car Alex grabbed the bag from the backseat. This bag was black and had a huge ATL written on it in Lucy’s bubble handwriting. It’s what we call the prank bag. Rian sees it and shakes his head. He pulls out the hidden key that Lucy seems to hide in a different spot every week. She had yet to hide it somewhere new so it was still above the door frame. Rian opened the door and I shushed him. He rolled his eyes when I handed him the Buzznet phone that Matt had given Alex earlier. We climbed the stairs and I turned back towards Rian while on the stairs. “Hello Buzznet and welcome to the first day of The Your-a-peeing Tour. As you can see its only 3 of us up right now. Zack is sleeping still and we can’t have that now can we? Follow me Buzznet and witness the first of many pranks on tour. ” Rian turns the camera.
“And the death of our guitarists and singer. We’ll be having auditions for replacements tomorrow. I only say this because Lucy is sleeping in there too… Wish us luck!” Alex hands me a pool noodle and we continue up the stairs and into their bedroom. Both were asleep and Rian backed into the corner so that you could clearly see us and the bed. I stood at attention with the pool noodle by my side, Alex the same on the other end of the bed. I mouthed
“Ready 1…2…3!”
“OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SAY CAN YOU SEE! BY THE DAWNS EARLY LIGHT!” Alex pretty much screamed the Star Spangled Banner while I threw whacked them with the pool noodle. Alex joined in. The second Alex started to sing Lucy shot up and threw the covers back. When she realized it was us and not the kids she groaned and threw the covers back over her head. Alex continued and she stuck her foot out of the comforter and kicked Alex straight in the groin. He doubled over. Rian burst into laughter and Lucy pulled her foot back in. Zack was still snoring.
“Dude how did he sleep through that he never slept through that kind of stuff before”
“He has three baby boys he learned how to sleep through chaos.” Zack continued to snore. Lucy shook Zack.
“The kids aren’t crying let me sleep”
“Zack love wake up” He rolled over onto his stomach. Lucy and I looked at each other. He nodded and I cannonballed into the bed. Zack shot upward and caught sight of me. “Hey Jack now would be a good time to run” I nod and then following Lucy’s advice and took off. Lucy climbed out of bed and walked over to the closet stepping over the fetal positioned Alex. I ran after Lucy in attempt to hide. “No Out!! Bad!” Lucy said as she wacked me with a towel with her toothbrush in her mouth. Zack sitting up in bed was laughing.
“Hold up, Lucy looks like a fifty’s housewife in the mornings.” She gave Rian a look. “No I’m serious look. Her bandana, her wavy hair, the tank top and boxers don’t but everything else does.”
“Rian are you fixing to get your @ss kicked?” Rian backed up quickly. “Wait you guys recorded this!?”
“Lucy welcome to tour and say hi to Buzznet”
“Hello Buzznet, I have a feeling you and me aren’t gonna be close friends after this tour. Oh and Morgan I hope you guys didn’t want kids” With that Lucy turned back into the bathroom. “Zack unless you want your bandmates to see your wife’s butt you might wanna chase them out!”
“Don’t forget Buzznet too!” I said as Zack pushed us out of their room.
“Give us ten minutes” Zack tells us as he shuts the door.
“Well that was the first of many videos this tour so we’ll see ya later!”
“DUDE!” The door opens and a hunched over Alex is pushed out of the room before the door shuts again. He leans against the wall.
“How can Lucy kick so hard?”
“She played soccer dude you didn’t know that? Stay out of kicking range of Lucy dude common sense”
“Ok now were leaving Alex say Bye Buzznet”
“Bye Buzznet” He said weakly.
