The guys decided they wanted to meet up at my cuz javar crib so we had a few drinks and chopped it up a little bit,you know how us niggas do when we all get together.My phone vibrated in my pocket and I looked to see a text from Helen.She was talking about how she couldnt wait to see me and that I could come whenever I was ready.I guess I didnt notice that I was smiling at the text because Javar and Kev called my ass out on it.We laughed and I finished the rest of my cup and decided to cut my time short with the guys so that I could make my way to Helen.I shook up with the guys and headed out.

After I texted Trey I couldnt help but be anxious to see him.I havnt told him or any of my friends but my parents still think I should have married Trey and to make matters worst my mom still ask about him and calls him her son. If I could have a dollar for all the times my friends and family ask me if I ever miss him or still love him I would be a millionaire. Of course I still love and miss him but im happily married now so Trey and I will never be anything more then friends.Everyone else need to learn to respect that and both our relationships with other people.No sooner then my thought ended I heard the doorbell ring and a text popped up on my phone from Trey saying he was here.I yelled "I got it" and went to open the door.As soon as I opened the door I was taken back by his gorgeous smile and welcoming eyes.

Trey:Wassup shawty (smiling)

Me:Hey bighead lol

I pulled him into a hug and he gripped my body so tight which reminded me of old times.At one point I thought he would never let me go and to be perfectly honest I didnt want him to.The only reason I did let go was because I heard someone clearing their throat behind us.I jumped a little bit and turned to see my mom.

Mom:Len you just gonna stand there and take up all the hugs?!Let me see my son!lol

Trey:Wassup Momma?! you know i will never give all your hugs away :)

Mom:I know baby,well come on in the kitchen...you hungry?whats new super star?

Trey and my mom set and talked and I watched them from the front door.It was always nice seeing them interact she loved him and he loved her back.I wish my dad was here to see him but he isnt so I guess there is no use in dwelling on it.My dad past 3 years ago due to a sudden heart attack,I never talk about it because it still hurts but Trey was the only person i felt comfortable talking about him with.My cousins came in and they were even more excited to see Trey,he talked and they lisened its like they were amazed.I laughed and walked over and placed my hands on his shoulders.

Me:Okay you guys can I steal Trey for a little bit,he and I still have some catching up to do?

Mom:oh yeah sweety we are sorry lol you know we dont see him often so when he come around we just love to catch up,but go right ahead.

Me:thanks you guys lol.

I grabbed Treys hand and lead him upstairs to my old room.He followed and smiled at the pictures my mom had on the walls going up the stairs of me as a kid.I told him to wait in the room while I went to use the bathroom really quick...he did as I said.

I walked around and I couldnt believe her room still looked the way it did when we was youngins.I remember she use to sneak me in that window late at night and I would come lay with her until she fell asleep.I looked on her dresser and smiled as I flipped through her old photo album from highschool.Damn I cant believe she still has this picture of us,we were so young but inlove.

Helen:You are still nosey Tremaine lol

Me:you still have these pictures....

Helen:(Pause) umm yeah

Me:why did you keep them?

Helen:My mom kept them after I moved to Alanta she said she missed me so muc that she wanted to put some memories together and I guess you and I together was apart of those memories.

I watched her walk over to sit on her bed and i swear if I was the old me I would have slapped her ass.She knew just what she was doing walking like that and it was working on me.I went and set next to her and she smiled.

Me: So how do you like the A shawty?

Helen:I love it,the weather,the food and people are really nice.

Me:thats wassup,im glad your enjoying yourself.

Helen:Yeah,How are you liking Hollywood superstar?!lol

Me: Its nice, bright lights and fast life but you know ima always be a country nigga at heart so it gets a little intimidating.

Helen:Yeah I feel you.

Me:How is the married life?

Helen:It has its ups and downs like any other relationship but its worth every down moment.

Me: Wow....must be nice.

Helen:How is everything with your new boo?

Me:its all good she keeps me smiling so im not complaining.

Helen:good.

I looked over at Helen and I could tell something was wrong.I know her all to well and she was looking down playing with her ring on her finger which signaled that she didnt want me to see what she was really feeling.I put my finger under her chin and turned her face toward mine.

Me:Whats wrong?

Helen: Nothing Trey

Me:you want me to act like I believe that?

Helen: Trey it doesnt matter.

Me:am i making you that uncomfortable Len?damn we use to talk about everything,now your so secretive...wtf is up man?

Helen:first off you can leave if your going to keep cursing at me Tremaine and second why do you care so much?!

Me:because I do!!

Helen:Maybe it was a bad idea inviting you here.

Me: maybe it was,so on that note ima leave.

I grabbed my phone and keys off her dresser and headed toward the door.Right before I could twist the door knob i felt her hand grab my waist stopping me,then i felt her arms wrap around me from the back.I slowly turned to look down at her face and before I knew it her lips met mine. I leaned my back on the door and held her by her hips as I kissed her lips.I miss her so much and I really wanted to show her how much but then I quickly came back to reality.....Damn Kia.
