Loving a Jace Herondale- A Clace Story

easter one shot

Since yesterday was easter, I'll be doing an Easter one shot. The story will continue next update! I hope everyone who celebrates Easter had a good time!!

Clary's p.o.v:
"Happy Easter!" I whispered into jaces ear as he yawned. "What?! What is Easter? " He shook his head in confusion. "Well for shadowhunters, do you even have it as a holiday?" "Well, we have a holiday when Jonathon shadowhunter called the angel for help, so that is a holi-" I cut jace short. "Lets just say that's what Easter is for shadowhunters." I grabbed jaces hand and we headed down the hallway. "Picnic today?" Jace suggested. "No, we have too many. How about..." My mind was empty of ideas. "How about just a regular date. Lets just have a mundane date tonight- nothing too fancy." I said, finally an idea striking my head. "Ok, 6 tonight at taki's." Jace ran upstairs, leaving me to follow shortly after.

"Clary! Its already 6:30, let's go!" Jace screamed from outside. I zippered up my dress and headed outside. Jaces eyes went right to me and they lit up. "Wow, you look amazing, Clary." My dress was a deep scarlet, like my hair, and the bottom had designs that made my whole dress stand out. For once, I put hair down in curls, lightly bouncing on my shoulders. "I can say the same for you." Jaces eyes were beaming with light, which made his suit stand out. Suits were never seen on jace, so this one was amazing. His bow tie was white, but his shirt was a gold color; the color for weddings. But of course, whatever jace was wearing made him stand out and look handsome.

We silently rode in the car on our way to taki's. But once we got there, that was another story. Music blasted outside, along with inside. "What are you going to order? " jace whispered into my ear, although l could barely hear. "Um, some steak? What about you?" I couldn't resist but kiss jace right on the lips. People gave us dirty looks, but I just leaned into jace even more. "We have to find a table." Jace exclaimed after we broke apart. A nice and shiny table was only a few feet away. "Right there." I pointed to the perfect table, but then a couple sat down before us. "Crap Clary, if we weren't making out, we would of gotten that table." I blushed fiercely. "Well,that was a pretty good kiss." Jace smiled and dragged me over to the couple at our table. "Excuse us, but if you wouldn't mind, that is our table so please find another." Jace begged, making the couple stare into his handsome face. "No, we got here before you two, so shoo." Jace looked taken back. "No one has ever said no to my face." He shouted at them. "We are not leaving, so unless you two would like to watch, get out of our faces." I looked jace in the eye. "Lets just leave because these bitc-" Jace put his finger over my lips. "No cursing in front of little kids. These adults right here are acting like kids so we might as well treat them like one." I spun on my heel and me and jace were out of that place.

"Clary, I'm sorry we didn't get o to have our special date. We can have another one without those kids around." Jace kissed me again, excpet we had no one to give us dirty looks. I slammed the door shut as Jace stepped inside behind me. "Its fine jace. I enjoyed back talking those mundanes." My lips grazed his as I rubbed my nose against his face. My eye lashes gently glided along his face as I leaned in and kissed him. Jace kissed back passionately, making me kiss harder. I let my lips release his as my head leaned against his shoulder. I slowly fell asleep as jace cradeled me into his arms.
