Today was All Time Low's day off in Florida, and we had absolutely no idea what to do. Well, I didn't until Alex sent me a text from his and Jack's hotel room, asking if I wanted to spend the whole day with my best friend in the entire world (him). Of course I did, so I quickly texted him a reply and hopped in the shower to get ready.
I pulled on a pair of jean shorts with a patch of quilted design on the front right pocket, a plain lose fitting white t-shirt, and a pair of brown leather ankle high combat boots. I ran a brush through my curly dirty blonde hair, and applied a small amount of mascara.
Grabbing my military green over the shoulder bag and a few bracelets to accessorize with, I headed out the door and across the whole floor to Jack and Alex's room.
Alex opened the door, smiling down at me in nothing but his American flag skinny jeans. I mentally gulped, running over his whole bare chest with my eyes. The V that ran down his jeans, meeting the line of his boxers, the tiny amount of abs he had. I was in my own personal hell and paradise, right here before this shirtless guy.
"You ready?" He asked, ushering me into the room. I nodded, bringing my attention away from his chest to his smiling chocolate eyes. He grabbed a sleeveless white shirt with an anchor on it, sprayed some deodorant, and grabbed me around the waist to led me back to the door.
"So, what should we do today?" Alex asked, his arm still loosely around my waist. He pressed the button on the elevator, leading us down to the ground floor.
"I don't know. What do you usually do on your days off?" I asked, walking out of the hotel.
"Nothing." Alex laughed. "We usually just lounge around and play video games all day."
"Well, I'm sorry I took you away from that." I laughed back.
"No, I think Jack can handle not having a video game partner for a couple hours." He said as we walked down the sidewalk towards the little shops and stores that littered the streets.
"I know what we can do!" I shouted happily, startling Alex as we passed under a giant billboard which gave me an irresistible idea.
"And what might that be, Kenna?" Alex asked, laughing at how excited I was getting.
"Let's go to Universal Studios!" I said, screeching because I just couldn't contain my excitement. I hadn't been to my favorite theme park since eighth grade.
"Just us? You don't think the others would get jealous if we didn't invite them to go with us?" Alex asked, although I could tell by his smirk and tone that he was more than happy to leave everyone else behind.
"I'm in it if you are." I smirked up at him. He grabbed my hand, held a cab, and we piled into the back like a couple in a giggling, romantic movie.
"To Universal Island's of Adventure, driver!" Alex said in a posh accent. The cabbie rolled his eyes and drove forward, all while I was giggling at how ridiculous Alex was acting.
"Alex, we're here!" I practically screeched, motioning to the giant theme park only inches away. The cabbie brought us right up to the ticket counter.
"M'lady." Alex hopped out, opening the door and bending low, motioning with his arm to let me out. I was practically vibrating with excitement as he paid the cabbie and then bought our one day passes.
"Alex, I'm so excited! We have to go everywhere. And eat at all the restaurants and ride all the rides." I bubbled, taking his hand and practically sprinting across the moving floors that led us into Universal. Although, I couldn't really sprint across the floor, so instead we just stayed still as it carried us along, building up excitement with every slow minute.
"I can't wait." Alex said, wrapping his arms around my waist and placing his chin on my shoulder. I guess, to the people passing us by, we looked like a perfectly happy couple. Although, we weren't. He was completely and happily taken, while I was stuck loving a boy in California and loving him.
I relaxed in Alex's arms for the length of the moving floor ride, not minding how slow it was going at all. It ended far too quickly for my liking, but for Alex's sake, I had to pretend I was extremely ecstatic about it being over. Grabbing Alex's hand, I pulled him to the right on our way to the colorful world of Seuss Landing!
"Oh, I love this place, Alex!" I said as the bubbly, cheerful music enveloped us, and it seemed as though we were walking along the pages of Dr. Seuss's novels. Revealing our inner child, the first ride we went on was the Caro-Seuss-El.
"Where to next?" Alex asked, taking my hand as we hopped off the last ride in Seuss Landing. Clutching the stuffed Lorax Alex had bought me, I pointed towards the path of our next destination.
"The Lost Continent." I said with a grin. "It's got all about Greek Mythology, and such. And Mythos' Restaurant was named world's best theme park restaurant!"
"Good, because I'm starving!" He laughed, pulling me towards the shops on the Lost Continent. It looked as though everything had been cut from stone, an odd change from the colorful world of Dr. Seuss.
We ate a small appetizer, wanting to save our stomachs for The Three Broomsticks. However, the appetizer was the most amazing plate of gyros, and Alex and I left wanting so much more. However, we hopped on Poseidon's fury, and then set sail for the Wizarding World.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was probably my favorite. It seemed as if Alex and I just stepped straight into Hogsmeade. My legs were to the point of gelatin I was so excited. We first went into all the shop, grabbing any kind of souvenirs we could. Afterwards, we rode the rides and ended our stay at The Three Broomsticks.
We took our time through the other worlds, and by the end of our stay at Universal, my feet were killing me and I was carrying bags upon bags of souvenirs. Alex even gave me a piggy back ride to our cab, where we piled in and practically fell asleep from our long day.
Although, I don't think the cabbie would have been very happy if we did fall asleep. So, Alex let me rest on his shoulder while he stayed awake, and then helped me out of the car, grabbing all my bags, and heading inside the hotel we were staying at.
"Today was fucking awesome." Alex said, as we walked into the lobby.
"You and your unnecessary cursing." I tsked, laughing when he stuck out his tongue.
"I'm bringing you out on stage tomorrow tonight." Alex laughed as we walked towards to elevator.
"Um, that would be a no." I said, laughing along with him. I was perfectly happy with my spot on the side of the stage.
"Come on, it'll be so fun! And you're my best friend! It'll be fucking awesome!" He cried, hitting our floor button with what I presumed as emphasis.
"Again with the unnecessary F bombs, Alex. You should get help." I winked as he just rolled his eyes.
We giggled between ourselves about less important things until we reached the distention of Alex and Jack's hotel room. Alex slowly slipped in his key, and opened the door.
At first, we only saw Jack's back. He was sat upright on the couch, his back completely to us, almost as if he was gazing out the shuttered window.
But then, a hand snaked around his head, entangling itself in his messy black hair as his hand grabbed hold of a flash of ginger hair.
"Oh my God." I breathed, while the noise Alex made sounded like the mix of a gasp and chuckle.
Our sudden gasping, chuckling, and 'Oh my God'-ing broke Noelle and Jack apart, sending them flying to different ends of the couch and looking at us with a gaze of complete horror.
"Um, is this a bad time? Should we come back later?" Alex asked, smirking.
"No, no. It's... it's alright. Um, you know. It's not what it looks like." Jack stuttered, and I couldn't help but burst into laughter.
"Yeah, right. You two are so busted." I said, grabbing Noelle's arm and dragging her away to tell me all the juicy details. I had a few to tell her myself.
