*Narrator's POV*

The Cops took Lelani and Xavier to the station. The lead detective Mr. Morris interrogated Lelani first.

*Lelani's POV*

"So let's start with the basics." Mr. Morris said.

"Listen , Morris, I didn't kill Serena and I wasn't at Scream city on the night of her death, I was at home." I said with a sassy attitude.

"Your a busy Bee, lelani." Mr. Morris said.

"Elaborate." I said.

"You just moved here from new york and skipped your first day of school then 2 days of school and hanging out with one of the teen psychos." Mr. Morris said.

"My personal business is none of your concern." I said.

"It is when it has to do something with this case." Mr. Morris said.

"BTW Morris, Stay out of my personal business and Xavier is not a psycho. So you can leave us alone, Got it?" I asked.

"I'm a detective and I can if I want to." He said.

"Ok, So Detective Morris, tell me, Are you suppose to question me without my lawyer?" I asked.

"Your 14. Do you even have a lawyer?" He asked.

"I don't know ,you may just have to ask my lawyer." I said in a sassy tone.

"Very well, Miss Rose." Morris said.

Morris stood up and left the room.

*Xavier's POV*

I was in the investigation room waiting and waiting for something or someone. Then a African American male walked in.

"Mr. Brentwood, How are we today?" He asked me.

The detective sat down in a chair in front of me.

"Just cut to the chase." I said.

"Wow, you and Miss Rose are both busy Bees." Said the detective.

"You've seen Lelani?!" I asked.

"Yes, I have spoken to her." He said.

I looked at his name tag.

"Morris, I didn't kill Serena and I wasn't at scream city, I was with Lelani." I said.

"But Miss rose said that she was at home the night of Serena's death." Said Morris.

"Yep.......... And I was with her at her home." I lied.

"Why were you with lelani?" He asked.

"Why are you so interested in my personal life?" I asked.

"It might be important to my case." He said.

"I don't care." I said.

"You don't care about Serena's death?" He asked.

"I don't know how about you ask my lawyer." I said.

"What is with you kids?" He asked.

"What is with you detectives?" I asked.

"Very well, Mr. Brentwood." He said and stood up and left the room.
