Sequel to The Watcher. Happening at the time of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'. A Harry Potter Fan-Fic that is somewhat original. No secret twin, so don't worry... :D I must say that JKR owns some of these characters, but there are quite a few of my own.

I stood on my doorstep, looking up at the house that I would have to leave, my home. I'd had to leave my other home, Hogwarts. I couldn't stay when Snape was going to take over and Dumbledore was dead. My parents didn't remember who I was anymore and now was my time to leave. I closed my eyes and sighed. I would have to leave now. I turned away and walked down the pathway and through the little gate. When I stepped out onto the driveway I changed into my Animagi, a great golden winged leopard with antlers, and took off into the sky without looking back.

In my stomach I felt my baby kick out at me, almost as though they were trying to tell me something. Then as I stopped beside a lake it happened. My waters broke. My stomach convulsed and I almost screamed. Where could I go? There was no where that could help me. Then a lightning bolt of inspiration hit me and I took off up into the air.

I cast She, my Partronus, and she led my way through the highlands that I'd unconsciously headed for. Then it came into my sight, my second home, Hogwarts. The protection charms were useless against my impenetrable fur and I flew down into the place that I'd thought I'd never return. I landed by the Forbidden Forest and stumbled for a moment, my stomach convulsing for the second time in ten minutes. I flew upwards once again quickly towards the battlements and went through the window, staggering into the DADA room. I let out a cry of dismay as I felt my baby kick frantically. I hurried from the room, changing back to my human form and hurrying down the corridor on the seventh floor, not knowing where I was headed until I reached it. The Room of Requirement stood with its door wide open for me and so I went right on through, collapsing into a heap on the bed, just as I had another contraction. I couldn't do this on my own so I called out to the one person I knew would still be here over the summer, my good friend and House Elf, Sookie.

“Sookie?” I called out shakily.

There was a crack like a whip and Sookie appeared before me.

“Mistress Caramela!” cried Sookie, “what’re you doing in the castle?”

“Never mind that,” I said, “my water’s just broke! Is there any elves that know about child birth?” I asked her nervously.

“Of course! I will go gets them,” she said and disappeared.

She returned moments later with several other house elves and after that everything was a painful blur. When I returned to full consciousness two of the house elves held a bundle in their arms each. I found a vial of blue liquid by my beside with the label that read 'Extreme Pain Releif' and I drank it; instantly the pain left me. I watched as the Elves came to me and placed the two bundles in my arm and I gasped in shock. They were twins! And they were both so beautiful. One was a fiery red headed baby girl and she had bright blue eyes like my own and the other was a stunning white-blond haired boy with dark blue eyes that seemed almost grey. I held them both to me, the small whining bundles, so full of life, hardly believing that I'd had these small writhing bodies inside of me. I fed them both then took them over to a pair of cots the room had provided for me. I sighed and went to the bed, suddenly feeling the exhaustion that claimed me into its soft embrace.

When I awoke in the morning to hear my babies crying I fed them and cared for them with the help of Sookie. As the morning past I wrote a letter to Fred and sent it to him with She, as he was the father of at least the one. At mid-day She returned and I was filled with joy at the sight of her. I took the letter from her mouth and she turned and leaped back into me. I opened the letter with nervous fingers and looked at it.
