I'm awake from a deep sleep. I came out of my room, down the stairs and headed to the kitchen. I saw my mom was preparing breakfast.
"Hi, sweetie," she said, without looking back to see me.
"Hi."
"It's like 6 pm, you're awake?"She asked
She glance at me and stirring the soup again.
"What? It's 6 pm? I thought it was morning."I raised my eyebrows.
"After school, you were exhausted and decided to sleep."She said, remind me.
"Oh, Ok. Well, I'm starving now." I said, then chuckled.
I pulled up a chair and sat down. I prop my chin, my mom walked toward the dining table with a large bowl of soup, she put it and she sat down beside me.
"Why do you cook a lot of food tonight?" I asked.
"There is special guests who'll come over for dinner." She replied.
Who's the special guest?
"Oh my gosh, Is dad come early?" I grinned. I'm so looking forward for his return.
"No. It's the Gilinsky's"
"I dont know, if we have any neighbors named Gilinsky."
"It's your prospective fiancé's family."
My eyes widen, my mom just chuckled to see my reaction. I was about to speak, but I stopped by the
sound of the bell.
"you still on your pajama, change your clothes now with the dress I bought you yesterday, Ok?"My mom said.
"What? No, mom. I'm not ready!"
"You promised." My mother said, sighing.
Mom pushed me toward the stairs. I headed to my room and go change.
